Aimé sat hear the shore of the Black Lake, the contents of his book bag stacked atop it. An open pad of parchment was propped against his thighs, his legs stretching down toward the edge of the grass. He watched the lake, and now and then would make a tick-mark on the page, then checked his watch and wrote the time at the bottom of a long list beside the tick-marks. There were some things which simply did not appear in Hogwarts: A History.

Gigi walked on the grass a soft sound being made as she made her way over to a big oak tree. She had books in hand most of which had bookmarks which were to the end they were mostly charm books as that was her specialty and one day she hoped to learn them all. Her brown light chocolate hair sparkled in the sun as it bounced up and down her brown waves rippling down her back. She sat down at the tree and noticed a boy a little bit away but just opened her book and started to read not wanting to disturb him.

Aimé was lost to his latest project and didn't hear the girl. He continued watching the water, continued making his marks and checking his watch for a short time before stopping to look at his notes. He did a few quick calculations, writing them down in a blank space, then looked out over the water again, thinking this time rather than observing. If he was right, the Giant Squid stayed near to Hogwarts because of the proximity to such great amounts of magic, not because it was trapped.
