Description:
Like most people hailing from East Asia, Rayne is very petite. She stands at a height of 5'3 1/2 and people joke about being able to throw her around like a doll. Ironically enough, Rayne does somewhat resemble a porcelain doll. Her skin is very pale almost glassy looking and makes her look quite fragile, which she is not. Rayne hair is long and bright brown with straight bangs. Rayne has large dark brown eyes to top it all off.
Personality:
Rayne is a realist. She's not one to get into an argument nor instigate one. She doesn't see the need to fight or hate anyone for that matter, if she's your friend she likes you, if she's not then she could really careless about you.
Rayne doesn't push people away, nor does she enjoy dragging people in conversations, she finds that she only needs to speak when necessary, words are not the only form of communication to her. She likes to use those moments of silence the pull out her cello and play, something she had played since childhood.
Rayne had also learned the usual traditions of her ancestry, forms of Karate and the typical sword wielding, most people find it weird when they watch her training, wondering why she just doesn't use a wand, her reason is because of how calming it can be.
Rayne is a good friend, she’s not the type to sell someone out nor would she ever throw a friend to the sharks. If a friend is going to get hurt from a decision, then she would do her best to find a way to save her friend and maybe even gain from it, she's just a tad bit ambitious, but not to the extent that it goes above and beyond.
Her wit and brain is a common trait in her family. Rayne is very intelligent, she doesn't like to read books very much, but her parents had taught her so much it almost makes her sick how obsessed they are with being smart. However, she is proud that she inherited wit and a bit of sarcasm her mother say's she probably got from her father.
Rayne is also what you would call a secret box. She doesn’t gossip a lot thinking it’s a pathetic trait and not something she associates herself with. Rather, if she hears something she confronts a person head on or talk about it in front of the person in question because she doesn’t care about hurting the persons feeling, if a [person is willing to talk, they better be man enough to stand by what they said, something that even if the person was wrong, she'd respect them for it.
Background:
The Ashikaga name is well know, even in muggle history it is very influential, her ancestry was part of the Ashikaga shogunate which was a feudal military dictatorship ruled by the shoguns (Military rank) of the Ashikaga Family
While her family is known by muggles, what they don't know is that the reason her ancestors were able to reach such high levels was because of magic.
Her ancestors were wizards who wanted to do good for Japan, but that eventually failed.
Despite the historical past, and the fact that most pureblood are stuck up and would show of such a history, Rayne's parents brought her up in an caring way that taught selflessness and respect for all. Her family never cared for the fact that they have money or for them to treat everyone as inferiors, they preferred the more honest route of life, which did rub off on Rayne and her siblings.
Born and raised in Japan, she found it hard to move to England, but her father finally got the job he always wanted in the Ministry, so her family decided to move. Rayne wasn't happy about it, but it was better for the family.
Now that she is in Hogwarts, Rayne is finally sucking in the complaints and going through with this, knowing that she would grown to love the school.
