Lafra leaned back, knowing that she didn’t want to make her wounds and worse than they already were. She shook her head, Silver wouldn’t have to get rid of him she could do that herself. Loosening her crip on his arm she tried her best to ignore Vincent.
“You don’t have to, just stay.” she said, low enough only for his ears to hear. She tried to smile, but the obvious annoyance on her face wouldn’t allow it. Lafra slowly turned back to Vincent with a glare, but it evaporated when she saw the worry in his eyes. He had finally regained his senses and wasn’t acting like a typical jerk. Lafra scowled when he asked Silver, he was going to ignore her again… she hated it when he did that. Lafra leaned farther into the pillows; she was going to remain scowling until he left.

Silver looked worriedly at Lafra, but nodded and made himself relax a bit in his chair. His hand stayed over hers, though, determined to give her what comfort he could. It was a strange feeling knowing that he was a comfort, that he could be the protector for once instead of only the dreamer.
He had to pull his gaze away from her to look at Vincent. As much as he would have liked to tell the guy that it was none of his damn business, Lafra hadn't wanted him to get rid of him. He glanced back at Lafra again, silently reassuring her that he'd keep as much as he could just between them. It wasn't his place to decide who knew the full story, aside from the Headmistress herself.
"I brought her here," he said simply. "She was hurt. The nurse is taking care of her." He stopped there.

As if that wasn’t obvious enough, did he have to ask specific questions to get it out of him? His eyes landed on Lafra, her scowl made him smirk, she was still the same.
“How did she get hurt?” if this guy was going to avoid the question and state the obvious, Vincent would have to try and get it from Lafra which wasn’t going to be fun. She wasn’t the kind of girl to get into trouble, never dueled and was a very introverted person. His lips quirked into a frown, unless she somehow fell off a broom, which he doubted, he couldn’t figure out any reason as to why she was here.

Lafra refused to look at Vincent; he wasn’t even acknowledging her presence, speaking about her as if she wasn’t present in the room, how annoying. Her eyes were only on Silver, looking at him provided comfort, From the corner of her eyes she could see Vincent, she knew she couldn’t stay mad at him forever, she had known him for far to long to allow one day to completely destroy their relationship, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t pretend.
“You don’t have to answer that.” She said to Silver, this time she spoke she allowed Vincent to hear, wanting him to know that she wasn’t happy with him being here. Lafra would beat Vincent at his own game, he wasn’t fooling her into believing he wanted to know, he could always ask some other time, he just wanted to make sure she wasn’t any closer to Silver than she already was.

Silver had looked back at the sound of Lafra's voice, and he nodded. He didn't know how she'd gotten hurt anyway. He knew where and how serious her injuries were, and it was easy enough to guess that it had something to do with either a Death Eater or someone wanting it blamed on the Death Eaters... he didn't know much at all, really.
When he finally brought his gaze away from Lafra, he gave Vincent a somewhat apologetic look. He only just kept himself from saying that they shouldn't say anything until they'd talked to the Headmistress. Somehow, he was sure that would only make Vincent that much more persistent.

His first instinct was to look at her, he didn’t care if she was going to be angry about this, but she had made a promise to tell him everything, and this was something she wouldn’t be able to weasel out of. He sucked in a deep breath, wanting to know first hand from her.
“What happened Lafra.” his voice firm, he knew that she probably wanted nothing more than for him to leave, but he wanted to know, he needed to know.
“Please.” He asked, his tone softened, he was giving up. Vincent was not one to force things out, unlike his brother, he wasn’t as persistent. Knowing he wasn’t going to get a straight answer he took a step back shaking his head. She just needed time; he would allow her that time.

Lafra was watching him from the corner of her eyes, but something about his softened voice made her turn to him, she wanted to answer, if only to soothe him, stop him from worrying.
“I don’t know who it was Vince, I need time… to clear my mind.” she looked away, she didn’t want to look at Vincent anymore, she felt guilty having to leave him in the dark, but she wasn’t ready to tell him yet, afraid of his reaction.
“Not today.” she pleaded with him, she didn’t want to deal with this right now, the day before was hard having to deal with his brother, but her relationship with Vincent and the feelings he had only made things more complicated, she didn’t need that sort of pressure at this time.

Vincent's persistence might not have raised Silver's hackles so easily if Lafra hadn't minded, but she'd tried more than once to let the guy know that she didn't want to tell him right now, for whatever reasons. She didn't owe anyone an explanation, and she needed to rest and heal, not argue with someone. Vincent had asked the question several times and either understand or didn't care that Lafra didn't want to talk about it.
Silver's pale green eyes hardened as he looked from Lafra to Vincent. "I think you'd better go," he said, his normally soft voice strengthening. As much as the words sounded like a suggestion, his tone definitely did not.
