"You trust too easily." he concluded, he wasn't looking at her, he wanted to go and continue on what he was doing, but he couldn't anymore, not when knowing the guy who wanted to kill Tori was nearby, it would be like he was a part of having her killed, not something he needed.

"How would you feel if the last person you trusted with your life tried to kill you?" She almost yelled this to him before shutting her mouth and walking away.

He was speechless, not only did she just… automatically trust him, but she managed to shout at him too. He thought about her question and answered her anyways, even if she was walking away.
“I would never trust again. I would never care for anyone… nothing would matter.” Vincent trusted only one girl completely. Even if she couldn’t return some of his feelings, he was content just being her best friend, at least he knew she would never betray him.
“Would you care to give me a quick summary?” he was asking her for what it was that drove her to be so… lost. She seemed a bit lost; the way she fainted was enough to tell him that it was her ex that had betrayed her trust.

"Sorry, my emotions get the better of me sometimes." She said this turning back around. "Tried that for a year and a half, didn't work." She said this laughing slightly. "Everybody I know tried to pry all my secrets out of me. I don't want that again." She said this now with a grim smile on her face. "Well, are you sure you want to know?" She asked looking like she wanted to faint again.

"It's alright." he said looking behind her to a bench, he walked towards it, stopping right beside her.
"If it helps you feel better about it, then yes I would. Care to join me on that bench." he said using his chin to point it out. He looked at her face, it was still a bit pale and she looked faint.
"Go ahead." he said with a small smile, his hand at the small of her back, barely touching her. he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.

She just nodded her head, but still had that grim smile on her face as she sat down and flinched a little at where he put his hand. "Well, um, when I met Joey, my life was going down hill, I'd just lost my boyfriend and my brother, I found out my cancer had come back, and some other things that I'd rather not discuss right away. Right, so anyway, at first Joey was this nice, sweet, caring guy, but then he became this creepy, weird, crazy guy that I wanted to do with. Like when I took him back to my hometown with me, he ran off for 4 months and I didn't know where he went and so I started going out with this other guy and he showed up one night and I don't even know what happened that night, although I think it was accident, he hit me in the back of the head. So, I broke up with him and hid from him on this tour that I was on and started getting more involved with my new boyfriend, although that didn't work out either, he's just as crazy as Joey is, when he got mad at me, he did some pretty nasty stuff, and then I broke it off, even when I found out I was pregnant." She said this with tears running down her face.

When he sat down, he made sure to leave a big gap in between them, some girls liked their personal space. With his arms crossed, he listened to her eyes focusing on the ground below. She had been through… a lot. With arms still crossed he turned to look at her, unsure of what to say when a girl cried. He mentally swore, he never had to deal with crying girls, well only one girl, but that was different.
“At least… you are safe under the care of Hogwarts.” He wasn’t sure what more to say… for him, it was hard comforting another. Almost impossible, he just couldn’t manage to do such a thing.

She half smiled at that, she just kept crying. "Yeah, that's why I came back." She said this, then realized he probably didn't know how old she was. "I'm 22, I'm older than your normal student, but I felt that I could do something other than just studying for 2 hours a day and basically doing nothing for the rest of the year." She said this laughing.

He was at a loss for words. The conversation was stirring to a place where he wouldn’t be able to help her out.
"Being 22 years old means nothing. You have had problems to deal with. Imagine you were on a vacation and now you’re back to finish your studies.” What else was he supposed to tell her? He turned away from her, distantly seeing the guy was still there, watching both of them. Vincent inwardly groaned, he could fight, but he just didn’t want any problems… maybe he should have stayed in his dorm today.

She looked at Joey who kept looking in her direction and she started to get worried he was going to do something stupid. "Yes, that's just how my friends thought of it." She said this looking at the ground. "Well, if he comes over here, we might get into something I don't want to get into." She said this not looking up.

"I'm not sure, he wont do something stupid... not out in the open." Vincent was going to ask her the same question, but since she didn't know, he supposed that was the best answer he could give her.
Vincent stood up and stretched. He knew it was getting late and he had to return to the school.
"I think it's best you return to your dorm where you will be safe, or at least in one of the shops. Staying out here will do you no good." he turned back towards her and smiled, unsure of what else he could say.

She yawned and then started to cough, she then said, "No, you're I shouldn't be out here, right now." She said this in a small voice. "I think I just lost my voice." She said this not able to say anything above a whisper.

He nodded and nudged his head towards the school.
"I could escort you back to the school if you'd like." it would be an act of shame if he left her out here, especially with the man who wants to kill her not far away.
"I wouldn't mind walking you to your common room." he said a small grin on his face, after all she had been through, smiled might ease her pain.

She just nodded and then said, "Both of those ideas, sound great right now." She said this then coughed and stood up and started to walk.
