For once she felt like nothing could go wrong, she was skating with 1 of her best friends, her brothers and sisters and daughter were watching her, and she just felt like she was free. She saw a wall coming up to greet her and instead of avoiding it, she went straight for it and hit the wall with top speed. She fell backward and landing on her butt and yelled, "Walls hurt!!!" She yelled this before falling backwards and started laughing.

Vincent was dragging himself around the place, walking past a group of people who looked unfamiliar to him. He didn't pay any mind to them, until he saw one of the girls had slid right into a wall. He paused looking over the girl, at first it didn't register what happened, his first instinct was to quickly make his way over to her, but her laughter and yell made him stop. His brows furrowed wondering what it was she was doing?

She stopped laughing when she saw a boy look at her in confusion and she said, "Hi, Tori Dunlevy, and you are?" She said this with her New York accent coming out, pushing herself into a sitting position, but not standing up.

Vincent watched her, at first he was too stunned to say anything. After a minute it finally registered, and he grinned.
"Vincent Mezzanotte." he finally managed to stay, he preferred standing where he was, even on something so casual he was a tad bit too lazy.
"Are you alright?" the real question he wanted to ask is that if she was still sane, or si she even was in the first place. The way she smacked into the wall was as if it could have been avoidable, he wondered why she was even sliding across the ice in such a way.

"Nice to meet you, and yes, I'm fine." She said this with the same accent. She just stayed where she was knowing it wasn't smart to try to stand when she knew she could just fall right back down again.

She seemed to just, sit there, was she not cold? Vincent walked near, but stopping just at the edge of where it was slippery. He slowly made his way towards her, he walked slowly, but thankfully didn't fall. He extended a hand to help her up.
"It's a... pleasure to meet you too." for a brief second he was going to revert to speaking in Italian, he wasn't used to english, even though he had learned how to speek well.
"What is it that you are doing?" he asked, waiting for her to take his hand, maybe they coudl walk off the ice, he didn't really fancy falling down.

She watched him walk toward and knew what the gesture meant, she just knew the second she went to stand up, she'd just end up falling back down again. She accepted his hand, but said, "Um, just trying to feel free. Oh, yeah, and the ice is starting break." She said this looking down at the ice, her face was a mixture of things, sadness, lost, scared, and just plain happy.

Vincent swore under his breath, the last thing he needed was falling through ice and get wet. He pulled her up and held her by her arm tightly. The ice was slowly cracking underneath them, this wasn't exactly the way he was planning his day to be. He was too busy trying to figure out how to get out of it, he didn't notice the emotion display on her face.
"Don't let go." as soon as the words left his mouth, he pulled her to him and half lifted her. Swiftly, he managed to dash towards the other side, and just in time was able to pull her away from the ice. Looking in front the place where they once stood was just water.
Vincent looked at her, his accent thickened with his tightened jaw, he hated it when these things happened, it meant he actually had to do something. "Are you alright?" he asked this time paying attention to her features.

For once all she could do was look into the crowd in utter shock and horror as she her ex-boyfriend look at her in disgust. When she felt him pull her up, she just held onto him and didn't say anything, even when he asked her something, she just shook her head and started to shake in fear, but she whispered very softly in a spooky kinda whisper, "Joey," before shutting her eyes and started to fall asleep.

Vincent was confused, first the ice cracked and then the girl faints. Vincent, who was luckily still close to her, was able to grab her around the waist and steady her.
"Come on, don't do this to me." he said giving her a little shake, his day of enjoying a butterbeer seemed to have gone out the window, this sucked.

"Huh?" She said forgetting temporially that she wasn't at home. "Oh, man, I did it again." She knew she was probably confusing him. "My ex-boyfriend has this crazy affect on me, he can make me forget the reason why I left him in the first place, he tried to kill me." She said this probably scaring him.

He raised, she was talking so... casually about such a thing. Vincent made sure she was stable before taking a step back.
"He wont be able to harm you." he turned to the sea of faces, he saw a lot of potential 'Joeys', but none of them really stood out. Vincent knew a lot about murder, the whole Pureblood circle revolved around sabotage and getting rid of the competition. The look on his face was blank, but he would make sure to stick with Tori until he was sure she was fine.

"I'm not normal, but that's not something I tell most people, I just feel like I can trust you." She said with a small smile on her face. "I know, I know, he's not much of a people person." She said this then pointed to a guy who was standing off to the side of the street that held the smallest amount of people. "That's Joey." She said this with a growl. Joey was a guy with black hair, thick rimmed glasses, black trench coat, and looked like someone who could pass off as a Death Eater.

Vincent’s eyes followed to where the man was standing. He did look sort of ominous, but Vincent was far from being intimidated, he had seen much worse.
“You shouldn’t trust me, for all you know… I could be just like him.” He warned, although Vincent wasn’t, she didn’t know that. Maybe because she was so trusting she was in such a position, he had heard of similar situation, but it wasn’t any of his business or his place to judge.

"Well, probably not, because he wouldn't have helped me, he would have waited for the crowd to thin out before he even helped me up and by then I wouldn't even able to stand up. So, I'd say any guy who has the guts to do what you just did, gets my trust." She said this looking away.
