Storm dragged her feet through the forbidden forest, twigs snapped as she felt herself do deeper and deeper, the sounds of students from the lake was drowned by the buzzing of the forest, she perched herself on the floor pulling out a quill and a note book, her pen weaving itself around the pages as she wrote out all negativity from her system, her lips in a slight pout as her eyes brows furrowed in concentration.

The sound of twigs snapping made Lafra open her eyes wide, she felt afraid that it was a dangerous magical creature, turning around she saw Storm with her back turned to her. She walked over to her her voice soothing, afraid to startle her. "Storm?"

Narrowed grey eyes looked up to ones reflecting her own. She didn't know what to say but her expression went from complete concentration to something blank, she hasn't spoken nor came int contact with Lafra for a very long time.
"Lafra." she replied coldly, it was her only chance to keep her safe 'I'm sorry, I'm really sorry.' she thought.

WIncing at the voice she sat down near Storm playing with a small pebbel on the floor. "Why did you lie to me?" she asked bluntly. "About Kai." she didn't want to meet the gaze that created burning holes on the side of her head.

Storm froze as her jaw snapped shut 'lie' she heard the voice in her head tell her, she fidgeted uncomfortably.
"What do you mean?" she voice wavered and she groaned, it was no use, she couldn't lie if her life depended on it, a trait passed down in the family. She shook her head burying her face in her hands as she mumbled.
"Because you would be disgusted of me." she looked up her forehead creased as she wondered how Lafra found out
"Hang on how do you know?" she asked her.

Baffled by the reply she froze biting her lower lip angry that Storm would think that way. "I would never be disgusted in you." shrinking back at the next question she mumbled "Kai." under her breath.

She gritted her teeth clearly frustrated by the new source of information, she shunned away the thought of Kai and returned to looking at Lafra.
"You wouldn't, you would never be mad at me?" she asked her voice hopeful, she wanted to rekindle there friendship, the bond they had so powerful, she wished she could return it to the way it was.

Surprised as she was she nodded her head, she knew she would never hate her, she loved Storm like another sister, one she wished to have after her own family was completely shunned away from the Seyrrou name. "Do you think you coudl tell me everything? I think I've been in the dark for far too long, and so have you."

She nodded her head tilting it to the side as she wanted to clearly see Lafra's reaction.
"I met this guy name Chase, and I think I'm in this huge infatuation, I hope it will pass, but it doesn't seem like it will anytime soon." she paused facing away from Lafra.
"So I guess you could say, he doesn't share the same feelings, I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks I'm like his everyday garbage." the grimace that was urging to get out was suppressed by the anger burning inside.
"Kai's back, and I fear that he will harm someone close to me, I don't wish for that." she said quietly.

Lafra felt her eyes grow wide. "Chase?" she asked her, she had met Chase once, and she remembered how they had a very bad start. "You mean they guy who just can't keep his lips off any girl." she gritted her teeth, the memory still infuriated her, even after he apologized. "Lucretia, he's not worth it." she realized that she called Storm by her real name, but didn't care. "And I would just love to see Kai again, do something about his abnormally large head, he thinks he's on top of the world..." Lafra continued to rant, completely unaware that the words pouring from her mouth had probably made no sense to Storm.

Storm was taken aback. She couldn't say anything. At that point she was angry, Chase actually tried to get Lafra, she wouldn't forgive him for that. She felt her blood boil as she clamped a hand over Lafra's mouth.
"Shh, your giving me a brain hemorrhage." she rubbed her temples gritting her teeth.
"First of all, Chase is always like that, I don't think he'll be doing it anymore, Dru would be upset." she paused gathering her thoughts.
"And second, I don't want you within a ten mile radius of him, do you understand?" her voice was full of authority as her eyes bore into Lafra's.

"Your being overprotective." she pouted, she wanted to do something about Kai, but then sighed and reluctantly nodded her head. "Fine, but this Chase guy please be careful, I don't want you to get hurt." she pleaded with Storm.

Storm was relieved. She pulled Lafra in a protective embrace. Like the one she would give her whenever Lafra got hurt.
"Your like a sister to me, please don't hurt yourself, I'll be fine, and besides, I've been through a lot." she pulled away ad smiled.
"SO I guess we should leave now, it's not safe to stay in here." she grinned stood up and dusted off her robes.

She too stood up and imitated Storms movements. "Please try to reconsider him, there are others out there, he doesn't deserve you." she managed to say clearly she was stubborn and wasn't going to let this go.

Storm rolled her eyes. It was obviously going to be hard to make Lafra forget, but she would just compromise on her part.
"I'll try." she said in a singsong voice.
