Description: Reasonably tall and slim, with pale skin. Long black hair falling to mid-back, curling at the ends, deep green eyes. Small, delicate features.
Personality: Definately knows what she wants out of life and has set goals that she will do anything to achieve. This sometimes is a weakness, as her ambitions sometimes cause her to leave her friends if she feels it will further her goals. However, if she feels her friends truly are in desperate need of her help, she will assist them. Can be manipulative, however, won't if she thinks the person will be quite hurt. Lists muggle Robert Greene as a huge influence and hero, as the author of the 48 Laws of Power. Is a hard worker, and possesses a thirst for knowelege. Is friendly and outwardly confident, allowing her to get along with most people. Has strong opinions, and sometimes finds it hard to accept opposing arguments. Can be quite brave, standing up for her views or her friends, or doing things that may not be as accepted by others, yet will benefit her. Is secure in her magical abilities, which may have resulted in a slight arrogance. Dealing with the deaths of her parents has left her very self-sufficient and with the belief that she can only truly depend and rely on herself. This, coupled with a inability to completely trust others, has lead to her being somewhat cynical. Nevertheless, she strives to be as good a person as possible, and is able to recognise her weaknesses, and try to overcome them--if only to avoid manipulation by others and increase her chances of meeting her ambitions.
Background: Comes from an old pure-blood family (Name derived from Avalon- de Avery=of Avalon). As a result, brought up in the magical world, on the family estate. Lost her mother at age 7 in a Ashwinder-linked fire. Sent to Beauxbatons for early school, but returned to Britain at end of 6th year after the death of her father, following a werewolf attack. As sole heir, works with the estate's steward to manage the various properties before resuming studies at Hogwarts in order to remain near home. While brought up with many pure-blood traditions, has not been raised to believe in pure-blood superiority. Played as chaser on her old Beauxbaton's Quidditch team. Has hopes of a career either as an Auror or Healer.
