"Yeah, it was nice meeting you, Tori," Markise said. She didn't really need him walking with her anyway, not with her entourage of siblings so close. Markise gave Tori a smile, returned her backpack to her, then let her go, trying to recall where he'd been heading before they'd literally run into each other.
