Markise had told himself not to come here again. He'd told himself as he left the last time that he shouldn't come back, that if he just avoided Diagon Alley for a while Mano would forget him and he could pretend he hadn't made any kind of agreement. And less than two weeks later he'd been feeling on-edge again, so he'd gotten dressed up and sneaked through to find another club in London.
It had been a crazy night and Markise had only just escaped being dragged off somewhere and mauled. And he hadn't had that much to drink, just enough that when he'd been passing through the Leaky Cauldron on his way home, a stop here sounded like fun. It was a little late, but Mano had said any time, hadn't he?
Markise knocked on the door, then waited, looking up and down the street to be sure no one had seen him. He checked the hood of his cloak, the part of him that said he should just go back to his dorm snoozing in the corner of his mind.

Mano pulled himself off of the couch where he had been writing letters to his family and to Carolynn, ensuring that everything was going as planned. He set the materials on the side table and walked over to open the door, unsurprised to see Markise, even if Markise's appearance was a surprise. He stepped aside, "Come in." He wondered if Markise's dress would live up to his face, if so, he felt slightly under dressed.

Markise flashed a gleaming smile at Mano, his smoke-lined blue eyes giving him a brief but appreciative look-over before accepting the invitation and brushing past him. This was so much more comfortable than a long walk through Hogsmeade and the castle, and Markise wasn't ready for an end to things.
"Have I told you how much I love that light?" he asked, watching the glittering blue rectangle suspended over the coffee table. He tugged loose the tie of his cloak and swung it off, revealing his favorite clubwear, tailored white painters' pants and a white fitted tee that emphasized not only his form but the glow of the slight tan he'd gotten over the summer. He hadn't bothered dying his hair tonight, but it was perfectly tousled, and his free hand reached up to twirl a strand between his fingers. He'd worn his glitter tonight, but it was slightly more understated than last time. He'd wanted to get out more than he'd wanted to measure exactly how much he could get away with.

"I don't believe you have," Mano said, shutting the door and watching Markise. He was in his own comfortable creme clothes, soft long sleeves and slim-fitting jeans. His blood rushed just from the thoughts that seeing Markise brought to his mind. "So what brings you here so late?" he asked, eyes flicking up to the clock before moving back to Markise as he stepped closer.

Markise looked over his shoulder at Mano, and his lips curved into a mischievous smile. "I accidentally stayed out too late and the gates are closed," he said innocently. Actually, he had no idea if that was true. It could have been eleven or two, but it felt late, so that sounded like a reasonable excuse. Markise's eyes glittered at Mano, then he turned away and began to move toward the fire. He wasn't cold in the least, in fact he felt overly warm, but he wanted to play, not just get caught. After all the teasing he'd done tonight, what was one more?

Mano couldn't remember how late Markise had said the gates stayed open, but he wasn't about to argue with it. His eyes brightened and his lips curved. "Well that's a shame, I suppose you need somewhere to stay?" he asked, stepping closer to Markise. He didn't even attempt to keep his eyes from trailing over Markise, then pausing on the back of his pants.

"Mmhm," Markise hummed. Actually, he hadn't thought of that. He really had just meant to stop by on the way back to Hogwarts, but maybe it was that late. He hadn't looked at a clock all night, after all. And if he really was locked out, he couldn't very well sleep on the ground somewhere and he wouldn't beg a spot on the couch from DareandMichael. Markise stopped in front of the fire and brought up one hand to fan his face. "Is it hot in here?" he asked. He was warm enough from the drinks he'd had.

Mano brought his eyes up and paused just behind Markise and a bit to the side. "It's getting warmer," he said, eyes trailing over Markise's neck and jawline that he could see. He had been quite comfortable before the knock on his door, but as the seconds passed he felt warmer with Markise there.

"Mmm, if it gets any warmer I think I'll melt," Markise said. He glanced aside and tossed his cloak to land over the arm of the nearest couch, then pushed his shirt up a bit the way he'd done at the club when he'd been so hot from dancing. Some of the light glitter on his torso showed now, though he really was just trying to cool off. "I should probably get away from the fire," he suggested. He brought both hands up now to ruffle his hair, trying to get some airflow.

Mano wondered if Markise knew how badly he was teasing him. Mano's eyes were instantly drawn to the newly exposed skin. "This is the only room with a fire," he said, his mind wandering to the bedroom, which didn't have a fire, though he was sure he could make Markise melt in there, too. He shifted a step closer to Markise. "Would you like to see the rest of the place?" he asked softly.

Markise gave a contented sigh at the bit of air that had reached his scalp, then brought his hands back down. One hung at his side, but the other settled at his abdomen, smoothing lightly over the skin there. Markise was a natural flirt, and though he meant to tease with every word and look, the rest was almost entirely unconscious tonight. He looked back over his shoulder at Mano with purposeful suggestion in his blue gaze and the light purse of glossy lips. "I think I could handle that," he murmured.

Mano laid his hand lightly on Markise's lower back and gestured toward the stairs. "Let's go upstairs, there's not much to see down here," he said as his fingers played lightly against the skin beneath them. He was having a hard time keeping his thoughts in check, he had gotten so used to Carolynn, Tatyana, and the others from back home that Markise was practically a novelty.

Those fingers at Markise's back felt far too good to ignore. Markise gave Mano another suggestive look, then headed for the stairs that Mano had pointed out, his blood running even warmer now. If he'd had too much to drink, he didn't think of it, only of getting to see the rest of Mano's house or apartment or whatever it was. And the most likely end to the tour.
