HBP has just been rated PG by the MPAA here in America... It seems to me that WB would have had to cut some stuff from the book for the MPAA to make this PG.... Im a little worried now that I have seen that... anyone think this could be bad?

Er.. That doesn't sound good. What about the Inferi? Dumbledore's death? Eep! I'm not liking the sound of it at all! Maybe we just need a little faith?

Either that or some pitchforks and torches. And the director's home address, of course...

Ive been reading around and apparently the last Narnia movie got a PG rating when most people agree that the violence in that should make it a PG-13, so maybe the MPAA is just opening up a little more, idk. But Malfoy gets his chest split open in the bathroom by Harry, that doesnt sound like something in a PG movie

Yeah I thought about the whole Myrtle's bathroom.. Hmm I suppose we can only wait and see what happens, although I think there'll probably will be a whole bunch of fans unimpressed with it either way. The directors can never win when it comes to books being made into films.

Ooh, I can verify about the last Narnia movie. I went with a seven-year-old to see it and there was a lot of covering the hands and ears. But then, we know how tricky people can get when working around ratings. Take out one iffy word or show the character's face in mortal pain for three minutes with a moment of heinous bleeding rather than just three minutes of blood and all of a sudden you're fine. American Pie took out like three seconds of pie-humping among other things to get its R.

Well maybe we'll hear a slash then, see pain on Draco's face and then after he's left see some blood on the bathroom floor.
Well, only 7 months til we find out..

You can't see it, but I'm glaring fiercely at the people who decided to procrastinate our fun.
