Riley had arrived with a minute to spare, thankfully. Lowering her trunk to the ground softly she again fidgeted with her robes, hair, and glasses once more. Mind you they were all fine even after the mad dash through the castle, but she was nervous and knew first impressions were everything. Taking a deep breath and pocketing her wand and watch she knocked at the door and waited.

The knock on the door was a welcome interruption. Calling out, Hells beckoned the person to come on in. She was expecting the new History of Magic teacher, a woman that made a good impression during the interview and from the looks of thing, like to turn up on the dot. Standing up behind her desk, she grinned as she welcomed the newcomer into her office.

Taking a final deep breath Riley pushed the door open and entered the office of Headmistress Hells. She had a lovely and welcoming office and better still a welcoming smile on her face. Walking across the room she extended her hand when she was not far from the Headmistress. "Pleasure to meet you again Headmistress Hells." She said returning the smile. Riley recalled the halls and that there were few students littering them, yet it was not a meal or class hour.
"Pardon me for asking but on my way up I did not see many students about - I am on time am I not?" She was worried she had gotten the time right yet the date incorrect which had been known to happen to her after certain times of the year.

"You are on time, not to worry." Hells said kindly, beckoning the newcomer to a seat, before taking her wand out and conjuring up some refreshments from the kitchens below. "How was your journey? Pleasant I hope."

She took the seat nearest her and it felt wonderful to be off her feet after her walk from Hogsmeade. When the refreshments arrived Riley was tempted to dive in as she was starving, but thought better of it for the moment at least until she was invited to partake. "The journey was a quiet one, I was able to brush up on my texts for classes thankfully. I will admit to being a tad tired - I did not recall just how long a walk it is from the station to the castle." She smiled.
There was something else on her mind, her condition. "I- I wonder is the Shake still available if needed for um, certain times of the month?" She sounded like a complete idiot, but she had made mention of her condition during her interviews, all she really was concerned about was the safety of those she would be working with and educating.

Hells smiled warmly, slightly amused over what the new professor had said. She waved her hand over the refreshments invitingly. "You are slightly behind with the times Riley." Hells began, the warm smile still in place. "But that is probably my fault for not informing you at the Interview. The shack is no longer a safe place. The students see it more as somewhere exciting, especially with it's past and are frequent visitors. I think it will be perfectly safe for you to remain in your accomodation. I trust in you that you are responsible enough to keep up with your potion taking and as I mentioned before, should it need replenishing, Professor Grey will be able to help with that."

Helping herself to tea and a scone she sat back in her chair and listened. She should have know today's wizards and witches in training would see it as something exciting. My rooms will do fine and not to worry I have it well under control and a supply of wolfsbane to last quite a while. Should I need Professor Grey where might I find him or her?"
Riley sipped her tea and let herself relax a little more. Admittedly she was still very nervous to be back here teaching. Not that she could not do the job at hand, but she was nervous about her secret getting out to the children and thus becoming an oddity.

"Professor Grey will be in his potion's shop down Diagon Alley, or he can be found around the school somewhere. He's not usually hard to get hold off." Hells smiled, reassuringly. "He'll be happy to help and will work in the most strictest of confidentiality. Are there any other questions that you wish to ask?"

"No, not at the moment." Questions would come up and when they did she knew who she could go to. But now she should settle herself into her rooms. "Thank you again Headmistress. I should leave you be and go settle in some and reacquaint myself with the castle and grounds." She stood and held out her hand, it would be rude not to before taking her leave.

Hells stood up in unison with Riley and took her hand, shaking it softly. "Fabulous." She said, smiling broadly. "If there is anything you need, then please do not hesitate to ask. And please.. Take some more of these scones. It would be a pity to waste them." Hells offered, waving her hand over the food between them. "I'm watching my weight at the moment and I don't think I'll stick to my diet with these temptations on my desk." She chuckled softly, as she patted her stomach.

She smiled at her new boss and nodded when she offered the rest of the scones. It was clear the Headmistress did not need to lose weight at all. But she did as she was asked and wrapped them in a napkin quickly so as to be out of the way in a pinch. Walking somewhat quickly to the door she was almost out it before she recalled her manners! "Good afternoon Headmistress." She added with a sheepish smile.
**sorry this is so late - so much going on at the moment**

"Same to you." Hells replied, glad to see the Professor had taken some of the scones. "Good Luck!" She continued, sitting herself back down. Hopefully the students would take as warmly to the newcomer as she had.
