Yeah, yeah, merry Christmas. If I can get out of it early and just be alone, it'll be much merrier. My roommate's deserting me at 10 am Christmas morning, and since I'll have family here at the time, I'm just hoping they don't linger. I'm not going to be in much of a festive mood. Especially since I made gifts for them, and I found out after that they're all claiming too poor to do the same. I frikkin lost my job and I managed to scrape something thoughtful and well-intended together! [/rant] And for Anna: 1. Crimbo Crimbo is a slang word for christmas hey ben have a proper crimbo2. crimbo The online celebration of the Christmas holiday, partaken by those who do not choose to celebrate Hannukkimbo. I can't wait until crimbo. I sure hope Jick doesn't screw it up this time.

Aww *hugs Dare* I hope you have a good day, regardless of everything. Besides it's the giving - Just think you're that much better then everyone else because you made an effort even after everything. xx
I want to share with you something that my oldest child, Louis (6), said this morning on realising we had (as per usual in England) no Snow.
"Well, I knew we wouldn't have snow, because Jesus was born in a desert and they didn't have snow!"

Priceless.
And my sister lied about not getting anything. She got me an Origami-a-day calender. If she'd just gotten me origami, I'd have gone OCD one weekend and used it all. She, knowing me rather well, had sidestepped the problem. By the time it's done I should have an impressive paper Zen garden.
I still stand by my "happy everything" image, though.

We have a paper on our door at work that says Happy Kwanzhanumas or something along those lines....so I agree with you there. Sounds like a really fun gift you got there! I was thrilled to get my digital SLR so now I have no excuse not to get back into photography or deviantart.

We were allowed to decorate our cubicles however we wanted (or to not decorate if that was our prerogative.) So I had a little tree and Christmas lights. My Christmas was pretty good, but I can think of a few places I might have enjoyed better....
OH! Happy 2009!!!

Happy 2009 Annabelle!
One year I'm spending Xmas in America. Maybe when I'm like 50 or something.. But I'll definately save enough up one day!
