Hells entered her office, wrinkling her nose at the smell. After not being inhabited for some time, the stench in the air was awfully dank and musty. A few inches of dust lay on her belongings and as she walked through her room, a dust cloud followed behind. Sighing, Hells took out her wand and swept it around the room lazily, dispersing the dust and cobwebs that had taken hold. Having made her way to the window, she pushed it open, taking with it a spider who had made it's home in the panes of glass. She stood there for a moment or two, breathing in the delightful fresh criso air that she had come to miss. Her vision crossed over towards the lake and the mountains, the view once again reminding her where her home was. This was where she belonged. Tossing her long hair back, she turned back to face her office. She knew her return would come as a surprise to some. There had been rumours of her death, rumours she had not cared at the time to put to fact, but that was the past. She was ready to start a fresh and get the school back to it's former glory.

Julius couldn't believe it. He wouldn't believe it until he saw it with his own two eyes. Running down the corridors of the school, he knew that he looked like an idiot, perhaps even a madman, but he didn't care. He had to see if the rumors were true. Not bothering to knock, Julius burst into the office of the Headmistress, not knowing who or what he would see. He blinked, he rubbed his eyes, but she was real. There she stood, the face that he had not seen in such a while. The face that had brought him to Hogwarts. The face that had given him a job when he had graduated. Julius smiled at Hells, and walked over to her, grasping her in a hug. "Welcome Home Headmistess. We've missed you."

Hells hadn't expected such a reaction, especially from Julius. She smiled, bemused at his shock and elation at her arrival. "Thank you Julius" she said when he finally released her. "I can honestly say I've missed everyone too. I'm glad to be home. It's been a while, but nothings changed.. Well apart from the silence." She paused as she looked towards the door, listening out for sounds that once filled the halls outside. "But," she continued "I'm sure that'll change soon enough. Now I'm back, hopefully the silence will pass quickly."
Taking out her wand, Hells looked up to the man across from her. Although their past was full of memories, some of which even now she could not bear to think about, she was glad to see a familiar face.
"Can I interest you in a drink perhaps. Butterbeer, firewhisky? I have been known to make a lovely pot of tea in my time!"

Julius smiled, and sat down in one of the armchairs across from the Headmistress's Desk. He smiled as he remembered their past. Being dragged up here to talk about his latest prank, or love interest! Julius looked up at the Headmistress, and gave her a wink. "I think a cup of tea would be lovely right now." Julius knew that the Headmistress was surprised by his reaction. Their past was definately a rocky one, but he really was glad to see her return to put the school back in order. He wondered though............."Where have you been Miss, if you don't mind my asking?"

Hells should have expected the question. She knew that it would have been asked eventually. "I took a sabbatical, so to speak" She began. "It had been a tough couple of years and I needed some time out before I ended up in Mungos. I needed to revalue my life, see where I fitted in this world." She chuckled as she conjured up a pot of steaming tea and cups from thin air. "And it appeared I belonged where I was to start with. I should have come back sooner, but I just wasn't ready." She stopped talking as she poured the tea and passed a cup to Julius. "I just can't believe what has happened to the school in my absence."
Pouring herself a cup, she sat back in her chair and blew it gently. "What about you Julius? How have things been with you? No returning to the dark side I hope." She said, looking over the top of her tea at the ex death eater.

Julius smiled at Hells, blew over his tea, and took a sip. It was delicious, as always. What else could Hells had served? "I have been doing well enough miss. I too needed to take a sabbatical from the school for awhile. After what I did, I was sure that noone would want me around anyways. I was surprised to see though, that when I finally came back, people were actually happy to see me." Julius smiled, and saw the look in Hells eyes. "Don't worry miss, my Death Eater days are over. It took alot of time, and soul-searching, but I finally know where I belong." Julius smiled, and drank some more tea. "So what are your plans now that you are finally back?"

Hells sat and contemplated over her answer. "Fixing Hogwarts." She said finally, watching the steam rise from her cup. "My absence has caused some disarray, that is for sure." Hells glanced over to Julius. "But things will soon be rectified, I am certain. Now Julius, what are you plans? I assume you intend to teach again, otherwise there would be no point for your return."

Julius smiled at Hells. "I sure hope that is true miss. I certainly have missed seeing students around here ma'am." Julius took a sip of his tea as he thought about his answer. "Well, I certainly do want to teach again miss. Nothing is better than educating the minds of the young. Passing on your experience from one generation to the next. Damn I hope that doesn't sound to corny."

Raising an eyebrow, Hells chuckled. "Most professors sound corny, it's part and parcel of the job." She placed her tea down onto the oak desk, then opened one of the many drawers. Taking out some parchment, she was happy to find her Quill and ink was where she left it previously. "So Julius, I presume you will wish to continue with Potions then" She asked, her eyes glued to the parchment as she wrote his name down. "I must insist that lessons are regular. I cannot afford to take on half hearted teachers." Hells lifted her eyes and fixed them on Julius as she awaited his response.

Julius looked up at Hells from the top of his tea glass, as he drained the rest of the tea. "Well thats nice of you to say miss, but I am definately more corny than most of the Professor's here." Julius smiled, and gazed down at the paper Hells had pulled out. "Yes ma'am, I will keep Potions, and any other class you would like me to have miss. I will most definately be returning to a more active role around here!" Julius grinned, and leaned back in his seat, content.

Smiling, Hells proceeded to write accordingly. "Thanks Julius, I think for now Potions will be great. Certainly if any other positions come up and you will be able to keep up with all the classes in the near future, then we shall have another little chat. Now is there anything else I can do for you?" Hells asked, laying the quill back down onto the desk.

Julius scratched the top of his head, and fixed a puzzled look on his face. "No ma'am, I think that about covers it. It is really great to have you back Miss. The kids kept asking where you were, and I was running out of things to tell them!" Julius smiled, and winked at Hells. "Is there anything else you would like to discuss Ma'am?"

"No Julius, I think that is all now. Just remember, I expect the best from my students, I expect more from my professors. Any slacking.. Well let's not get into that for now." She smiled as she stood and held out her hand to the young professor. "Goodbye Julius. I am sure we shall see each other again soon."

Julius stood up, and took the Headmistress's hand, giving it a good firm shake. "Yes ma'am, I am sure we will see each other very soon. Oh, and you don't have to worry about the slacking thing miss. Those days are gone forever. Well...............for the most part." Julius's face split into a huge grin, before he turned, and walked out of the office, humming a slightly jazzy tune.

Hells shook her head at the professor's departing figure. Some things hadn't changed, she thought as she sat back down at her desk. She just hoped that some things had changed for the better. She knew that times had changed and life would be much different at Hogwarts from here on in. She was sad, yet somewhat excited about what would come. With one last glance at the door, Hells turned her attention back to the job at hand. Finding staff for her school.
