Olivia stood in the entrance hall, her lesson plan in her hands as she looked it with an expression of boredom. She had no classes until the afternoon and from what her housemates had told her, Mythology hadn't even began. That would mean a day of studying. She shuddered at the thought and looked around her. The Hall milled with students chatting and laughing with each other, breaking their conversations and giving her a disdainful look when she refused to move out of there way. Scowling back, she looked back at her lesson plan before scrunching it tightly within her fist and pushing it into the depths of her cloak. Pressing her lips together, she wondered where her friends were, then smiled tightly to herself. Friends indeed! They were no more friends, than aquaintences, people to answer her whim and shower her with compliments whenever she called for them. Well right now she was in need of her aquaintences and didn't like the thought of being stood her on her own. She glanced the Hall again, looking for someone, anyone that could amuse her for the next couple of hours.

Ariel tucked the cloak he had snatched around himself as he walked in the door. Why on earth that professor insisted on meeting outside was a mystery to him, it was freezing out there, even though people were still walking around in just tees. He was beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, Markise had been right. His scowl deepened as thoughts of Markise entered his mind and he relived the last two times he had seen him. It had been a mistake to be with Markise, and Ariel didn't plan to repeat it. He barely noticed the girl he clipped on his hurried way through the hall.

Olivia couldn't believe the audacity of the guy! Not only did he push past her, making herself fall into a gaggle of girls stood near her, he failed to apologise for his crime. Straightening up to her full five foot six of height, she glared at the back of him as he scurried away. "HEY!" She yelled, her eyes narrowed as she marched after him. "Hey you! Stop!" Olivia was fuming, her hands clenched tightly into fists. Who did he think he was?! Nobody messed with her and got away with it and this stupid eejit wasn't going to be let off easily.

Ariel didn't realize immediately that the girl was following him, didn't realize that he was the one the angry words were directed at until he glanced back to see her coming after him. He raised an eyebrow and stopped, turning halfway towards her. He didn't say anything, his expression asked what her problem was easily enough without him even opening his lips.

Olivia marched right up to the boy, until she was an inch away from him. "YOU!" She bellowed as she jabbed her polished nail into his shoulder. "You IDIOT!" She stated, her finger pushing deeper into the guy's clothing. "Who do you think you are?! Knocking ME over in your rush to get where ever it is you are going. Did it not cross your pathetic little mind to stop and apologise?" Olivia knew she was causing a scene. She could feel eyes on her as she stood, sucking on her teeth as she dropped her hand from his clothes and rested it on her hip. Excitement rushed through her as she soaked in the attention they were getting. She lived on it, survived on the adrenalin from those around her aswell as herself.

Ariel raised an eyebrow and then narrowed his eyes, turning to face her fully and glaring down at her. "I didn't see you fall. I didn't hear you fall, so I know I didn't knock you over. Maybe you shouldn't block the path," he suggested, his eyes moving over her before settling on hers. He already wasn't in a good mood and being stopped by...whoever she was, wasn't going to help very much.

"Maybe then," Olivia retaliated, her eyes flashing in anger, "you should open your eyes and unwax your ears, then perhaps you might realise what's going on around you instead of being stuck up your own backside!" She pushed back her dark curls from her face as she glanced over the guy. He wasn't bad looking if you were into that type and he would look rather fitting on her arm on the condition he kept his mouth shut. "But, I am willing to accept an apology." She looked straight back into his eyes expectantly.

Ariel blinked. "Apology? I suppose it would help if I were willing to give an apology, wouldn't it?" He didn't see any reason he needed to apologize, people ran into everyone in places as crowded as the Entrance Hall and if everyone blew it so out of proportion no one would ever get to class in time.

Olivia gave a bemused laugh. "Most guys would apologise to a girl should they run into them, but I can see that you're not like most guys." She raised an eyebrow and looked him over, curling her lip slightly. "No balls obviously." She glanced around her, amused to see they had drawn a small crowd of onlookers, hanging on to every word as they glanced from her to him. Their faces were excited and amused, some confused as to what was going on yet excited that they may bear witness to a slanging match.

Markise wasn't so much excited and amused as he was intrigued by the entire affair. Ariel was as good as his ex, even if the jerk hadn't acknowledged their relationship, and Markise was rooting for the girl to win, even if she was out of hand. Markise was still mad at Ariel, and got more than a little secret pleasure out of what the girl had said, knowing more than she did how much that had to have hurt. He was deeply entrenched in shadenfreude right now as he stopped to watch.

Ariel didn't see how not apologizing meant he didn't have balls, but that thought didn't stop his eyes from narrowing dangerously. Just then he caught a familiar blond head in the crowd. He stared for a moment before pulling his eyes back to the girl in front of him and taking a step forward, "Now, see, I could prove you wrong on that one." He immediately realized the danger in saying it, remembering his past experiences with girls, but he was confident that the same thing wouldn't happen again.

Olivia eyed him suspiciously, before blinking it away. She wasn't surprised to find him flirting with her, most guys did after all.
"Really?" She began, licking her bottom lip slowly. "And how, exactly, can you," She lifted her hand to poke him once again, before letting it slide down his chest before resting back to her side. "Prove mewrong?" Her eyes widened daringly at him as she lifted her chin. Maybe the crowd would get something to gossip about after all.

Markise rolled his eyes at that, about ready to move on now if it was devolving into this. On the other hand though, he was rather interested in seeing how far Ariel would take it. He'd taken it all the way in the past, but would he now? Would it be that easy for him to push what he and Markise had done to the back of his mind? Morbid curiosity kept Markise rooted to the spot, just for now.

"Well I could jump off the clock," Ariel said, "But I don't think that you would like that proof very much." It would certainly take balls to jump off anything that high, but he knew what she was angling towards. "How should I prove it to you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and refusing to let himself look over at Markise again.

"Well. If I need to spell it out for you, then I was obviously right before." Olivia raised an eyebrow and stood back, glancing down towards his shoes, before looking him back in the eye. "How disappointing.. I was hoping to be proven wrong, but however.." She let her words trail off as she shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't going to do all the work with this one, a challenge it may be, but a chase was not what she was after. If anyone was to do the chasing today, it wouldn't be her. After all, wasn't she, Olivia, every man's dream?
