"Oh like you really mind," Ariel said, rolling his eyes. "I know I didn't imagine that wow or that look in your eyes." Or any of the other things Markise had done to give away that he thoroughly enjoyed his time with Ariel. It was starting to feel like they were a couple, arguing over something small, and Ariel didn't like it. He glanced back at the door again and shifted on his feet.

Markise's lips pressed tight. He couldn't exactly argue with that, but that hadn't been the point he'd been trying to make! Ariel was just bizarre, getting pissy over a couple dances with Dare when Ariel himself didn't want to go, even if Ariel didn't give a jarvey's ass about him outside sex. Markise wanted more than a casual lover, but he knew that Ariel was the best he could get. He lowered his head slightly, wiping the cloth against his eyes, more carefully now, to get off the eyeshadow and what eyeliner he could without messing up his mascara. He wanted Ariel to either do something constructive or leave so he could stop waiting for something to happen.

Ariel shook his head and uncrossed his arms, "Feel free to find me when you get over this little urge you have." He took one long look at Markise and then turned for the door. He didn't care to stay in the room with Markise like that, wasn't attached enough yet to want to comfort him or make him feel better, and so Ariel left, resigning himself to not seeing Markise again for a while.

Markise's lips pressed even tighter, and he made a noise of deep frustration that no one heard but him. No, he wouldn't be finding Ariel, actually. Ariel was a jerk, and having an amazing body and knowing how to use it wasn't enough. Markise had learned from Kwami that wanting it wasn't enough. If there weren't any other gay guys at school, then he'd just be alone. He finished cleaning himself up, then headed out the door for his dorm. He was getting dressed and going out.
