Ryan walked up the steps to the front door. It was dark outside, almost his favorite day of the year, October 31st, Halloween. Ryan had always loved halloween from the time he was little. Of course all kids love it because they get candy, but he was different. He loved the spirit of it, the stories and the legends. From an early age he had always believed in ghosts and warewolves and vampires, which is why it was no shock to him when he found out he was a wizard. He walked into the dark house and enjoyed the feeling as he sat down on one of the stairs, wondering if anyone else would end up coming to the shack at this time of night.

Brindle knew she shouldn't be out this late. It was way past curfew, and she wasn't even in the school. But somehow she'd gotten caught up after her class at Diagon Alley, and when she'd gotten back to Hogsmeade, it had seemed safer to just hide out somewhere until a more acceptable hour. She'd seen the shack and the stories she'd heard about it had come to mind, that it was haunted by something far more terrifying than Peeves. Brindle was a skeptic though, despite her knowledge of the existence of magic. And it was nearly Halloween. What better time to check out such a place than the so-called witching hour? So she pushed open the door and walked in, her wand lit against the near-blinding darkness. And stopped at the sight of a boy, sitting alone on the stairs. Her breath caught, and for a moment she only looked at him, wondering what on earth he was doing out of the castle. She caught herself and laughed, a light sound that echoed in the empty room. "Hi," she said simply.

Ryan was a little startled at the sight of the girl but it didn't show, he smiled "Hello there. Im suprised anyone else would come out here." which was only half true, he knew some people that would. "So what brings you here stranger?" he asked nicely.

Brindle couldn't help the hint of a smile that curved her lips at his greeting. She liked him already. "I was out of the castle at curfew, and I don't feel like getting caught by Filch," she said. Filch creeped her out, and she wasn't ashamed to say it. "What's your excuse?" she asked the boy, turning his question back on him.

After Halloween feast, she went to the common room with fellow Slytherines the up to dormitory. She had her mind prepared to wonder outside of the castle tonight. She had heard that the most haunted place in all England is Shrieking shack, which lies in Hogsmade. And she had decided to visit that place in Night time. No night could be better then Halloween. When she was sure all her fellow Slytherine girls were asleep, she get off her four poster bed, and changed into her black hooded jacket and black jeans. It could help her hiding in shadows and dark. And set off to a horror journey. Walking for more then hour, she felt quite tired. In her way..she hadn't seen a single strange thing, but heard a lot howling around the forbidden forest... Which was probably belonged to werewolves, because it was full moon on a clear sky. It was very very cold. She thought to go back to castle but she then focused on her will to see or at least glance at her DREAM PLACE For Once, even from a distance, before she go back to the castle. When she was at a distance, She noticed a shadow entering in shrieking shack and first thought came in her mind was, maybe its a vampire or something? She pulled out her wand and slowly followed the shadow but before she enter in the shack she heard HER talking to someone and felt disappointed to hear that they were just two student wondering around like herself. She kept listening to them for a moment then... smiled mischievously and put back her wand. She put her hands on her mouth and howl just like she have been hearing on her way. AAaaaaooooooooThen ran and hid in a shadow, so they don't see her IF they comeout. [[OOC: I hope you guys don't mind me joining this thread..do you? We can make it scary or funny..whatever you chose.. ]]

Brindle's head whipped around, looking for the source of that noise. She knew little of the legends of Hogwarts, but she also knew not to dismiss strange sounds or odd feelings. She moved slightly toward the boy, holding up her wand a bit. "Did you hear that?" she whispered. She hadn't even had time to ask his name, or to tell him anything about her. Whatever was out there, it had terrible timing.

Ryan smiled "Don't worry. I believe it was a poor atempt of someone trying to sound like a wolf. We have company of another student here somewhere."

She was amusing with girl's awkward wisper, though she couldn't hear what exactly she was saying but felt very bad when the guy said it might be a student. She thought to tease them once more but before she could attempt it, She heard a howl from some distance. It was away, but not as away as they were from castle. She felt her knees went weak and her heart beating very very fast. She started to think what should she do? should she run away to the castle? But she could encounter whatever there was? Could it be just a regular wolf? AAAaaaaaoooooooo She heard the howling again...this time MUCH, MUCH closer and VERY clear. Before she could stop herself she ran into the Shack and ran into the girl. "Ouch...." She fell down flat on the ground with the girl she ran into. "Sorry..." She said with a moan.

"Oh!" Brindle exclaimed, the force of whatever had hit her knocking her forward. She tried to catch herself, but she'd been knocked hard enough that all she could do was try not to hurt herself. Or Ryan, who she fell half onto on the stairs. Her eyes widened, and for a moment, she wasn't sure where to look first, at whatever had caused that impact, or at the older boy she was now much closer to than she'd meant to be.

She looked at Ryan" Hi there Ryan.... hi there... " She said to the girl... "Sorry about that.." She added to the girl then stood up tensely, " hey guys we got to get out of this place... I'm sorry, I tried to scare you guys with howling..but I think we got company now..." She said miserably. " I heard a howl back from the forest and its getting closer." She told them everything and waited for them to decide what to do next.

Ryan looked at Katherine and nodded and then looked at the other girl "What do you think we should do?"

First Brindle thought she should pull herself off the boy and stand up. Had he even noticed? Brin wasn't sure whether to be relieved or insulted. She settled by crossing her arms over her chest as she straightened, looking out toward the window. "Well I'm going back to school," Brindle said. "Getting a detention is nothing to getting eaten by something." If she was going to die, it would at least be on her terms. Brindle drew up her wand again, flicked one last glance at the other two, and headed outside, fully intending to get back to the school asap.
