Ariel sighed softly and his eyes closed again. He thought about running through girls he had seen in his mind, but the thought of girls only distracted him from the wonderful feeling of Markise kissing his jaw. He dropped his arm behind Markise, his hand picking up just enough to stroke his fingers lightly low on his back. "He watches people," he warned, one of the reasons he didn't so much as wear anything that could be misinterpreted.

"You couldn't decide on the train, and I wasn't even trying," Markise murmured. He continued a steadily growing assault on Ariel's senses, half distracting him as he went on. "Let me prove it. I'll dress up and we can go to Hogsmeade. I'll show you." Why was the idea affecting him so much? He'd flirted with the idea before, and he knew he could do it, but he hadn't, really. And he barely knew Ariel. Had he gone insane? "Unless you don't want to." There, a disclaimer.

Ariel didn't know how to respond to that offer. Yes, it would ease his worries about his brother, but did he really want to go into Hogsmeade with a dressed up Markise at his side? No. "I think I'll take my chances in London." At least there no one but his brother would know it was him, and the chances of being recognized were slim to none. He shifted slightly underneath Markise's touch.

"Mmhm," Markise hummed, turning the heat up a notch. He wondered how well he could pull it off, and though maybe it was a ridiculous challenge, he found it a challenge nonetheless. Markise was a perfectionist by nature and the idea of being able to pull off something like that--perfectly--appealed to him. He'd just have to work on it without Ariel, no big issue. Especially when Markise was ready to go again. "You don't have another one, do you?"

"Another one?" Ariel asked, searching for what in the world Markise could be talking about. It probably should have been an easy answer, but his mind was so concentrated on the idea of going to see his brother while holding Markise's hand was overpowering. It would be so easy for one of them to say something and his brother figure out that something was going on, or for Maverick to want to ask questions or see the girl again. The mixture of trying to figure out what Markise was talking about and trying to get thoughts of his brother out of his mind mixed to make it to where he couldn't do either one.

The answer had to be no. Ariel hadn't said he'd had more than one, had he? It was a shame, but there was really nothing he could do about that, so he pushed the thought away and concentrated on what he did have. What he had was the ability to get Ariel's undivided attention, and he did so, purposefully stretching the moment for as long as Ariel could last.

Even with the distraction thinking about his brother brought, it was hard not to be completely distracted from his thoughts by Markise's actions. And when it was over, Ariel was pleased to note that his brother didn't even attempt to intrude on his thoughts. He closed his eyes and sighed softly, wanting nothing more than to keep that warm feeling with him all the time. He silently thanked Brindle, however annoyed he may have been, that she had found his compartment.

Markise laid down next to Ariel again, his blood still racing, and watched him. He reminded himself of those other times that Ariel hadn't left him wanting and shoved aside thoughts of Kwami, shoved aside the parallels he could feel here. He didn't want parallels. For once, he wanted someone who wanted more than what he'd just done. Ariel wanted more than that, right?

Ariel lay for a few seconds, not really thinking of anything in particular, then he opened his heavy lids and looked over at Markise. A spark entered his hazy eyes as he raised one arm and pressed Markise to his back. That hand dropped and his mouth found Markise's pale neck. Even if his limbs were heavy with pleasure and something near sleep, he knew he wouldn't feel right walking out the door without returning some of the pleasure to Markise.

Markise sighed, his momentary worries washed away at Ariel's satisfied kisses. When they were both satisfied, Markise couldn't stop the lazy smile from forming on his lips. Three times, from just after 6:40 this evening. "We should get to our dorms," Markise said through a poorly smothered yawn, "before we fall asleep." Tomorrow wouldn't be nearly as fun if they were both walking around with backaches. Markise gave Ariel one more kiss, then pushed to his feet, moving lazily to gather his clothes and slowly pull them on.

Ariel nodded and stretched out before sitting and pushing himself off of the desk, looking around with still hazy eyes to figure out where his clothes had run off to. When he finally found something he pulled it on, not really caring too much about if it didn't sit straight or lay just right, it wasn't like anyone was really going to be seeing it. He was heading straight back to his dorm and falling immediately into the bed.

Markise's plans were much the same. When he got to bed, he intended to sleep like the dead for as long as he could manage. But one thing at a time. For now he needed to get his shoes tied...or at least the laces tucked in so he wouldn't trip over them. "Tomorrow?" he asked Ariel, pushing to his feet again. "I could meet you after dinner." Then they'd both be done with classes, and they could have whatever time they wanted.

Ariel looked up from shoving his feet in his shoes and nodded, "That sounds good." He made a mental note to turn his back to the Hufflepuff table, just in case he could see Markise. It wasn't the safest thing in the world to watch Markise while they were eating, his eyes would hover on lips and his imagination would run wild. He stomped on the floor to get his shoes on right and then ran a hand through his hair as he looked up at Markise, that comment about those shoes coming back to his mind.

Markise was finished, so he crossed the short space between them and brought their bodies flush. Their clothing felt like a tease now, like a ridiculous pretense between them. He kissed Ariel briefly, then pulled himself away before he could be tempted again, his lips curving. "Happy birthday, Ariel," he said one last time, then headed for the door to retrace his steps.
