Ariana entered the library, taking in a deep breath. "Ah. Love this smell." Dumping her a bag on the floor with a loud "THUNK!", she did some stretching exercise. Glancing around, she saw nobody. "Quiet afternoon!" she said happily, smiling to herself. She couldn't read in the common room. It was noisy. She sat on a chair and fished out a book from her bag and started reading.

"Hello... May I seat here?" Tina asked politely. The girl did not reply her. Tina glanced at her name tag. Ariana Osgood... She did not receive any reply from Ariana, so she asked again. "May I seat here?"

"3rd." Tina replied. "You're in Ravenclaw, right? I've seen you many times at the Ravenclaw table. Always reading a book," Tina said, smiling. "So you love reading?"

Ariana smiled excitedly. "Yes! Yes! My mum always bring me to BORDERS to buy some nice books. I've read lots of book, and my favorite book is The Other Boleyn Girl! Philippa Gregory writes really well. And also the Private Series. Kate Brian is such a gifted au-"
Ariana stopped abruptly at the puzzled look on Tina's face. "What?! Don't tell me you..." She frowned, then apologized. "I'm sorry. I forgot that not all students are muggle-born..." She stuck out her tongue.

Tina waved her hand. "Nah. Why don't you tell me about your life before coming to Hogwarts? How about your parents?" Tina asked. "I like listening to stories." Tina added brightly.

"My parents are both Muggles, and they are doctors. They were thrilled to find out that I can do magic. I have an older sister, Gladys, but she is a Muggle. When she knew that I am witch, she started acting like a bitch. She called me really awful names like Hairy armpits, Smelly feet, Child prostitute-" Ariana paused to stare at Tina, who was laughing loudly. "It's not funny!"
When Tina stopped laughing (finally), she continued, "My parents treat me as though I was a guest or something for the rest of the summer. It felt awkward! They even brought me to Singapore for a week! They also bought me loads of books to 'reward' me and I haven't finish reading half of them. So, I brought them all to Hogwarts. Well, I couldn't bear to leave my parents for Hogwarts, and I almost cried at the platform and in the train. But I didn't, of course. I'm not much of a cry baby."
"So... How about your life before coming to Hogwarts?" Ariana asked, thinking that she had talked a lot.
