Dare's lips curved. He lifted his head, looking down at Michael for one short moment before bringing their lips together. The next indeterminable minutes--was it only a matter of minutes? Dare didn't know--were light heat and heavy pleasure. Somehow they managed to draw it to an end, but not before both boys' shirts were rucked up high, and both were breathing heavily. Dare blinked down at Michael when he finally lifted his head, eyes still hazy. "You are so amazing," he said.

Michael shook his head, though he didn't give a verbal argument on how amazing he was. His hands moved lightly over the exposed skin of Dare's back before he wrapped his arms around Dare, looking up at him with glazed over eyes. "You are so much better than my dream," he said instead of arguing, smiling softly at Dare and then letting his eyes wander away from Dare's to his hair.

Dare gave Michael a crooked smile, unable for the moment to say anything clever to that. He'd definitely made the right decision. He was getting a job, and saving up for rings. He and Michael would go window shopping at the jewelry store today. Dare pressed a light kiss to Michael's lips, then forced himself to sit, though his weight still pinned Michael to the bed. "We should get going," he suggested. "When we get back, we'll have the rest of the day to ourselves." And if it was half as amazing as last night and this morning, it was going to be unforgettable.

Michael smiled broadly at that thought and reached up to tug Dare's shirt back into place. "I'll stop by the dorm when we get back and meet you here, that alright?" However much he really didn't want to go to his room, he knew he had to, so he was going to just go ahead and get it over with, maybe grab a bag like Dare had. He also couldn't see Dare having a problem with him going, but still figured it would be best to tell him that he wanted to.

Dare nodded. "That's cool, I'll swing by Gryffindor Tower and switch out my clothes, too," Dare said. He tugged Michael's shirt down too, watching as the cloth covered him back up, then moved to stand, sighing. He'd much rather stay here with Michael, but there were things that needed to be done, and he and Michael always had later. Dare made himself go pick up his bag, slinging the strap over his head and across his body, then gathered up his sketchbook. "You ready?" he asked Michael.

Michael swung his legs over the edge of the bed and bent, pulling on his socks and sliding on his shoes before standing and going over to Dare. He paused for a moment, biting then licking his lip as he debated. Then he watched his hand as he took Dare's, linking their fingers before looking up into Dare's eyes. "Yes," he said softly, nodding. The whole school knew anyway, there was no reason not to take the comfort and closeness of holding hands.
