Dare's eyes widened slightly, then he looked away, out into the room. "He...isn't into that," Dare said. Just the idea was enough to... Dare cleared his throat and lowered his sketchbook, holding it with both hands. "He told me not to even ask." The day they'd met, but still, Dare couldn't imagine Michael stripping naked for him for any reason. Emilian didn't know that, and Dare wasn't about to correct him, but still, it wasn't going to happen.

Emilian grinned at that reaction, then shrugged as he picked up his robe to take it back to the bedroom. "I'm sure you could talk him into it if you really wanted to," he said, glancing back over his shoulder at Dare. He was interested in seeing the results of something like that, though he couldn't see Adara liking the idea of him looking at the drawings.

"No, I couldn't," Dare insisted. He thought of the few drawings in his trunk, but they were guesswork, albeit based on what he knew from touch and comparison to himself, but those didn't count as figure drawing so much as desperate boredom after curfew. Dare kept his gaze diverted from Emilian. "He knows I want to try figure drawing..." Dare said, thinking aloud more than anything. But really, did he think Michael would approve of him drawing anyone's nude figure? Even a paid model, if he miraculously found one? And Michael had seen Emilian naked enough times that he shouldn't be shocked by it, should he? Wouldn't Emilian be the most natural choice?

Emilian shrugged, "Maybe not now, but you'd be surprised what someone will do when they care about you." There was a brief replay in his mind of that one massage Adara had given him, and his eyes gleamed with the memory and his lips curved in a grin because of it. He shook his head slightly to clear his mind and looked back up at Dare. "There's always the chance."

Dare shook his head adamantly. There was no way in hell Michael would say yes. He wouldn't say yes to Dare drawing Emilian, and he definitely wouldn't say yes to Dare drawing him. He was just going to have to not do figure drawing. He'd stick with portraits, he didn't have any choice. It wasn't about whether Michael cared about him, it was about whether it would hurt Michael for Dare to do it. "Maybe I'll do a portrait of you and Adara," he said, shifting the conversation back to --hopefully-- safe ground.

Emilian didn't say anything more on the subject of figure drawing, deciding that he had said enough on the point of it to give Dare something to think about for a little while, at least. "That's fine with me," he said. "And I'm sure Adara wouldn't mind." Then, what in the world would Dare come up with when both of them were involved, considering what he had done individually.

Dare nodded, but couldn't seem to look up at Emilian again. He cleared his throat lightly. "I'll be back tomorrow, then," he said. His work here was done now. Dare glanced up at Emilian, gave him a crooked smile, then took off, back toward the castle. He was indeed going to be thinking about figure drawing, and Michael, for quite a while.
