Dare didn't know what had possessed him to take on leadership of another club, and drama club, at that. He'd been all for joining--it had sounded like a blast--but he was already running the drawing club, and drawing was his main creative passion, not acting. Still, he'd been offered the position, and taken it, and the more he'd thought about it, the more into it he'd gotten. By the time he'd gathered enough members to justify an actual meeting, he'd been more than ready to go.
Dare brought out his wand and gave it a flick or two around, pushing the desks and chairs around the edge of the classroom they were using today. Then he turned to lean lightly back against the professor's desk at the front of the room, tucked his thumbs into the pockets of his fitted jeans, and waited for everyone else to show up.

Her parents would be absolutely pissed off if they found out she had joined something some public. Although in a way, it might serve their purpose, by acting normal, no one would suspect a thing.
Stepping into the classroom, she knew she'd be the first, having nothing better to do now a days than being watched by her parents and then getting to class. Today she was free for the second time in a week.
Her eyes fell on Dare. She had met him once and took a liking to him. He was the type of guy you didn't have to be uptight around, and that suited her fine.
Raising two fingers in greeting she leaned against the opposite wall, a grin on her face, acting was easy for her... in the past her whole life revolved around facades, now she would have to summon that part of her again.
"This should be fun." she said with the corner of her lip pulled up in a half smile, she might as well enjoy herself while she still could.

Dare's lips curved, though he sensed that same something she'd held back last time. He'd only met her once, but she wasn't a girl who was easy to forget. "Hi, Lucretia," he said. His fingertips itched then, and he had to remind himself this was drama club, not drawing club. Maybe he'd ask her to sit for them some time.
He thought for a moment, recalling what he could of their conversation that day by the lake. "Do your parents know you're here?" Dare asked, one brow arching slightly behind his fringe. She'd commented on his easy classes; drama club didn't seem like the stereotypical extracurricular for a daughter of one of the Old Families. Not that Lucretia seemed like the stereotypical meek & mild type, either.

Lucretia's lips turned into a full grin, wasn't that an answer to his question. She clasped her hands in front of her as if it were some kind of restraining gesture.
"Lucretia's never one to play by the rules." she winked playfully and laughed, it came naturally to her when around him. His aura was easy going, she needed it a good dosage of letting loose.
"If we're lucky, then we may get to see the wicked old witch and her husband swoop down on us to kidnap this poor precious damsel." she pretended to look innocent and weak, but was ruined by a small giggle of even the thought of her parents finding out.
That thought made her scowl slightly, she wasn't going to have them ruin her fun.
"Keep it a secret, but they don't know I'm here." she gave him a sheepish smile and looked away innocently as if she would never go against her parent's wishes.

Ryan walked into the classroom knowing that he would love being here. He loved acting and was happy that there was finally a drama club at the school. He looked and saw Dare, who he didn't really know that much, and then Lucretia, who he knows pretty well. He smiled and nodded to them both "Hello you two."

Dare's brow had arched higher at Lucretia's words, and he'd shaken his head slightly, though his lips remained lightly curved. "I'll try not to brag too much," he said. There was only so much he could do about word of mouth, but he'd do what he could.
He raised a hand in greeting when the other guy walked in; it could only be Ryan. "Hey, what's up?" He flicked a glance back at Lucretia, silently telling her that he wouldn't bring up what they'd been talking about, then looked back to Ryan.
"So, I'm not really sure what I'm doing here. I figure we could get a play in the works, but I'll take any input you guys have." He looked to the door, knowing there were a couple more people they were waiting for. "I figure we can get started, at least a little, have something going when the others show up. Any thoughts?"

Silvia walked into the classroom. She was a bit nervous she wasn't much of a club person, i mean she had thought of Quidditch and of that Ancient Runes group, but she never figured out when Runes met and was waiting for quidditch to begin. Dare did invite her, he seemed pretty cool and laid back. She also could never pass up something as different and intriging as drama. Theater, art, and film were secretly her passion. When her mother sent her to a muggle school before hogwarts, she signed on for stagecraft, but ended up getting the role of Helena in a mid summer nights dream. She instantly fell in love with theater...not just acting everything about it. Shakespeare's works aswell. She took notice of everyone around her, not a bad bunch. "Hi" she said and sat down.

Lucretia mustered two more hello's for Ryan and one girl she had never met, but quickly grinned knowing Dare wouldn't bring it up again.
"Well, we could start off by getting to know where everyone stands in acting. Everyone's experiences and if they ever took classes or training in Drama." she shrugged lightly, she wanted to blend in with the rest of the group rather than act the way her parents told her to.

Anna walked in while the girl was talking. She had questioned her decision to join the club when she realized Dare was in charge, but decided to do it anyway. It would probably be good for her anyway, and they seemed fine when they got into movie quoting mode, which was nearly the same as acting. She looked around the small group, keeping a smile on her face as she joined them. "Well I've been in a few muggle plays before Hogwarts with friends, but nothing really worth mentioning. I love costumes and role playing though." She answered the question, even if it hadn't really been asked, just stated.

Ryan smiled and listened as Anna talked and then decided it was his turn "I was in a few plays as well in muggle schools and community theaters, and I also like to run tech and direct."

One of Dare's hands rose at that, sliding up under his hair to rub absently at the back of his neck. "I haven't been in a play since like, third year," he admitted after giving Silvia and Anna a brief greeting. "Role-playing, though, I'll do that just for the hell of it." Anna knew that personally. Dare forced his hand to lower, tucking his thumb back into his pocket as he leaned against the desk. He wasn't going to think about that. Drama club was a clean slate.

Lucretia shrugged, seeing that everyone was talking about their experiances she leaned back and snorted.
"Everything about me is one big play." she said to herself. t was probably a little bit too loud, but it didn't matter, she would just play it off as some sort of joke. She smiled coyly to everyone thinking about what they could do.
"A scriptless play would also be fun. Your lines are basically anything that comes to mind. Name a plot and you compensate with what you have to make your own script." she shrugged it would be kind of fun to make up your lines on the spot.

"Improv is always fun, but it takes a lot of practice. I've never actually done it on stage, but my friends and I used to play with it for fun. You really need to know the other actors so you can read what they might do and feed off of them." She looked around at the others gathered, wondering if they could pull it off. She wasn't sure, but she knew she wanted to have fun, the play they picked didn't really matter to her. She looked at Dare, directing her comment at him, "I'm just here to act and have fun, so whatever you tell me to play, I'll do it."

"Improv sounds like an idea," Dare said with a nod. "But I agree with Anna, we'd need to have an idea what we were doing, know each other a little, or at least each other's characters." He thought for a moment, his gaze tracing a crack in the stone floor. Then he blinked and looked back up at the others. "I know a couple activities, like mirroring, to get to know how people move. We could try that out," he suggested. "We'd be pairing up, watching each other, and whatever the other does, you do in mirror. What do you guys think?"

Silvia listened to the other's responses. "Umm i did 3 muggle Shakespeare plays, two of them i acted, and the other i did stagecraft and costume design. I'm willing to do anything it's all fun. " Silvia then pondered Lucretia's suggestion. "Making up our play would be pretty cool, but difficult. I like creating characters, but when it comes to plots i suffer from serious writers block." "So...if we do end up doing it, i'll leave that task up to you guys." Silvia liked Dare's idea for the mirror game. "I'm definitely up for that Dare, i played that before. I know some other games too, you guys want to try them after we do some of Dares?"
