Julius didn't care if he was banned from the grounds. He didn't care about Hells would do to him. Hell, he didn't even really care where he was going anymore. Nothing mattered anymore. It felt like he was made of glass, and someone had shattered a huge whole in him. Julius took a swig of the wine he had, and sighed. Why would Cassie do that to him? After all the things they had been through together, after all the good times they had, why didn't she trust him? Why did she have to lie to him? Most importantly though, who was the other man she was protecting? The thought of this man just made Julius go insane. He pulled out his wand, and blasted a hole through a nearby tree, wishing it was the other man's head. Things were over for Julius. He had no job, no friends, and the woman he loved was lost to him forever. Julius could feel hot tears start sliding down his face. He sat down on a fallen branch, and drank from his wine, his mind lost in miserable thoughts.

Cassie barely managed to stile her cry as the sound of an explosion ricocheted through the trees. She stumbled to her feet, drawing her wand with a shaking hand. Julius leaving had ripped her apart, she hadn't been eating, sleeping or dancing. Classes had been ditched, friends and concerned professors avoided.
The stress had taking it's toll on Cassie, her locks of once golden hair had lost their shine and her once slender figure had turned gaunt. The worst change by far, though Cassie was unaware, was her eyes. The once sparkling emerald eyes had turned listless and a smoky grey, no longer changing and only containing shadows.
She moved through the forest like a ghost, as if her presence was hardly felt by the world. As she drew closer she saw who it was and froze. Not able to face him, although she wished she had the strength to she turned to leave. However underfoot a twig snapped, the sound echoing through the woods. She swore under her breath, hoping he hadn't heard, but not daring to move.

Julius was just sitting on the branch, drinking his wine, and trying to decide what tree branch he was going to tie his noose around, when he heard a sharp snap. He jumped up from where he sat, and pointed his wand at the dark figure with their back towards him. He relaxed a little as he saw the long hair of a girl, and sighed a little. "It's okay miss. You don't need to leave. It might be nice to have someone to talk to. Why don't you turn around, and come sit with me. Do you like wine? What's your name?" Julius was talking to fast, a nasty side effect of his depression, but he didn't really care.

Cassie steeled herself and turned slowly, taking a deep breath, keeping her wand at hand. "You already know my name, you know I like wine." she started, striving to reamin calm. "Last time you saw me you couldn't stomach the sight of me and yes, I do need to leave" she finished softly. Her eyes had filled with tears as she struggled to control herself. Sitting here was the man she loved, wasting away before her eyes and she couldn't reach his heart.

Julius froze his eyes staring at the lying sl*t that was the cause of all his pain. He blinked out the tears that came to his eyes, and took a deep breath. He rose slowly, his wand in his hand, and his eyes slightly crossed from the alcohol. "What the f*ck are you doing here? Meeting your new man for a private f*ck session? I wonder where you got that idea?" Julius's eyes revealed an angry hurt, and his wand hand began to shake. "Are you ready to tell me the truth now, or is your lustful pride still in the way of doing what's right?"

"Do I look like I came for that?" she retorted, she knew she looked a mess. Her clothes, once colourful and figure-flattering were now dull and shapeless, her skin had turned a deathly white and all the joy had left her eyes. "Julius, every word I spoke before was true. Look at me, I'm a mess without you" she whispered, her eyes begging him.

Julius eyed Cassie up and down, and snorted. "You look like a mess, which only says to me that you have already had your rendevous. How was he Cassie? Was he better than me?" Julius laughed openly at her other comment. "You are a very convincing actress Cassie, but I have been around a long time, and you can't fool me with your lies. I know how much you like to put yourself in bad situations. I remember what Larten did to you? Why were you even there that day, when you knew about his rep, and how he felt about you? Its all so clear to me now. OUR ENTIRE RELATIONSHIP HAS BEEN BUILT ON LIES AND BULL#$%^! I can't live like that Cassie, can you?" Julius was trying very hard to contain his anger, but it was getting extremely difficult. He was shaking from head to toe now.

Cassie shivered, unable to prevent a tear from sliding down her cheek. "Julius you insult me. There is no other man" Her voice was even, forced out as she tried to remain calm. She flinched at his words about Larten. "What happened with Larten was unfortunate, a coincidence. My wand was malfunctioning, I did not know it until I had entered the shop that he was the owner." she said, defending herself, she was getting sick of listening to him, to his lies and insults, she still loved him, but she could only endure so much. "As for living I was dead the day you walked out on me" she said. Cassie broke, she was no longer able to contain her tears and they flooded down her cheeks. She turned away, not wanting Julius to see her like that.

Julius couldn't stand her back to him. He ran up to her, and grabbed her, whipping her around. "STOP WITH YOUR F'ING LIES YOU STUPID B$TCH! THERE IS ANOTHER MAN I KNOW IT! Not that I can blame.........blame you for having another man. You have a long life ahead of you, don't waste your time on me." Julius was beginning to break, but then a fresh wave of anger took over, and his eyes turned red. "WHAT HAPPENED WITH LARTEN WAS NO ACCIDENT! YOU DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS THE OWNER? BULL^&*(! YOU WERE ABANDONING ME, I KNOW IT, AND WHEN I WANTED TO KILL HIM YOU STOPPED ME! YOU SAVED HIM!" Suddenly a realization came upon Julius. "LARTEN IS YOUR NEW MAN, ISN'T HE! ANSWER ME! TELL ME THE TRUTH! OH WAIT, YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF DOING THAT, AREN'T YOU? WELL THEN, I WILL JUST GO DEAL WITH HIM RIGHT NOW!" Julius threw Cassie to the ground, and began to walk back towards the castle, murder in his mind.

Cassie's sobs choked her as Julius pulled her round. Cassie stood, silent, one glance at him had compounded her terror. Cassie groaned in pain as she was hurled to the ground like a rag doll. She sat up, tears streaming down her face, but she was finally furious. "FINE" she screamed, "GO AND KILL HIM!" she contined wildly, waving her arm around. "Larten mean's nothing to me, I have never slept with him. I should have let you KILL HIM THE FIRST TIME" she screamed, hurling abuse at his back. She sobbed, how had it come to this? she asked herself wildly. How?

Julius spun around a smug look on his face. "FINALLY, A LITTLE HONESTY FROM THE LYING WH*RE! ALRIGHT THEN, YOU STUPID B^%$&, IF LARTEN MEANS NOTHING TO YOU, THEN WHY DID YOU SAVE HIM THAT FIRST TIME? TO SAVE ME FROM AZKABAN? I AM A FORMER AUROR AND DEATHEATER! DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT A: THE AUROR'S WOULD PUT ME IN THERE TO BEGIN WITH, OR B: IF THEY DID, THAT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BREAK OUT!?" Julius walked over to Cassie, and roughly picked her up off the ground. He held her wrist in his hand, and smiled at her. "I expect more honesty from you Cassie, or the consequences will be severe."

Cassie couldn't help but flinch at his harsh words. "I did it because I didn't want the love of my life TO BE A MURDERER!" she retorted hotly. Cassie was furious now and fully capable of giving as good as she got. She refused to let a sound escape as she was hauled to her feet, Julius' grip on her wrist was painful and she winced. "Oh I would be delighted to repeat the truth" she replied sarcastically, gasping from the pain of Julius' rough handling.

Julius laughed loudly, and twisted Cassie's wrist around until he heard her bones break. The sound brought such joy to his heart. He threw Cassie back on the ground, and gazed down at her. "I AM ALREADY A F'ING MURDERER! I TOLD YOU ALL ABOUT THAT! MY GOD, YOU REALLY ARE F'ING STUPID, AREN'T YOU!?" Julius walked back over to the branch he had been sitting on, and sat back down. "Why are you making me act like this Cassie? Why can't you just tell me the truth, and stop with your b&tchy attitude?"

Cassie scream with the pain, and swore several times. Her breathing became ragged and she nursed her arm. Cleo tapped her wrist tentatively with her wand and was relieved when a warm, soothing sensation flooded down her arm. Cleo chewed her lip for a moment and got to her feet shakily, she looked at Julius, not backing down. "I will not stay here and listen to this" she said quietly. She turned her back on him and after flicking her wand so a shield settled around herself she began to walk back to the castle. She had her head held high, but he couldn't see the tears streaming down her cheeks.

Julius couldn't stand it anymore. He couldn't watch her walk back up to the castle to dive into the arms of another man. To be with someone else......... Just imagining it, brought tears to Julius's eyes, and shivers down his back. He wouldn't, couldn't allow it. If she couldn't be his, his alone, then, she wouldn't be anyone else's either.Shaking, Julius got up, his wand pointed at Cassie's back. "CASSIE..........Cassie..............please.............look at me............." Julius couldn't hardly breath. He was losing it.
