Out for a drink (Simone)

[Liam McAdam]

Liam waited outside of the Three Broomsticks inn, waiting for Simone. Earlier today, he had lost a bet and had to buy her a butterbeer. He was somewhat blushing as someone came up to him earlier and made a joke about him going out on a date with Simone.

[Simone Dubois]

Holey jeans...black tank top...flip flops. What an ensemble she was wearing, but then again, she wasn't out to impress anyone. It was just Liam she was meeting. She was running a bit late seeing as she got caught up in doing some homework and the time had got away from her. She scurried down the path to Hogsmeade, trying her hardest to get there as quick as she could. She didn't want him to think that she ditched him.

Upon arriving, she quickly spotted him and waved before grinning. She hurried over to him, slightly out of breath but happy. "Hi...I am so sorry I'm late..." she said, rambling on. "I got caught up in homework and then time got away from me...so I'm sorry..."

Liam waved to Simone when he noticed her. He heard her apologize and smiled a little. "No need to apoloize. I don't mind at all." he said, giving a sincere smile. "I'm glad that you're here, regardless if you were late or not." he said before realizing what he said and blushed.

[Simone Dubois]

Simone raised an eyebrow as he blushed but didn't call him out on it. She got the feeling that he had a crush on her, but at the same time, she couldn't be for sure. She had a slight crush on Jace, so she knew the signs well. The blushing, the not knowing what to say. Classic signs of crushage. She gave him a smile to ease him and glanced at the door. "Shall we?" she asked.

Liam noticed that Simone had raised an eyebrow at him blushing and was grateful she didn't call him out on it. He then heard her ask if the two should go in. "Of course." he said, smiling while holding the door open. This was one of the things he learned from observation, holding a door open for a friend was a polite thing to do.

Simone smiled as she walked in, brushing back her wavy hair. The place was crowded for that time of night, but it made it for an interesting experience. She looked around for an empty table and spotted one next to a window. "Over there..." she said to Liam, pointing to the table.

Liam nodded as he walked with her to the table. When the waitress came over, she had noticed that Liam was paying for the drinks. 'Aw, how sweet, treating your girlfriend are you?' she asked, smiling a bit, somewhat teasing Liam. Liam blushed in embarassment. "She's not my girlfriend. I lost a bet is all." he said honestly. 'Don't worry about it.' the waitress said, winking a little before getting ready to take their order.

[Simone Dubois]

Simone was sitting down when the waitress came over to take their order. Hearing her comment and seeing Liam blush, the blue eyed girl couldn't help but smile and give Liam a wink. "I'll have a butterbeer, please." she said softly, trying to take the attention off of Liam so that he could have time to recover.

Liam heard Simone speak to the waitress and was so glad she caught the waitress's attention. He sat down aswell and knew that the waitress would ask if he wanted anything. "I'll have one aswell." he said, trying to avoid more conversation with the waitress.

Simone gave the waitress a quick smile before she left and she turned her attention back to Liam. "So...how have you been since we last saw each other a few hours ago?" she asked softly. Her face, shoulders, and arms were now a nice golden brown color thanks to the sun and it's magic.

Liam smiled a little so as to be polite to the waitress, but once she left, he looked down and sighed in relief. His face, shoulders and arms seemed to have a decent first-time tan. He then heard her ask how he has been and was trying to calm himself down quickly before answering. "I've been good. How about ou?" he asked, sounding a little nervous, but seemed to recover quickly from the waitress's comment.

Simone crossed her legs and leaned her elbows on the table top. "I've been good," she said softly, brushing her shaggy hair out of her eyes so that she could see him better. "I had fun today...thanks for hanging out with me." She took a quick glance around before turning back to Liam. For a guy...he was quite reserved and shy, it was a refreshing change.

"Hey, it's no problem. I'm glad you had fun." he said, smiling a bit. He was about to say something else before the waitress came back with the butterbeers. 'Here you go.' she said, grinning and then walked to take the orders of other people.

Simone leaned back against the back of her chair and looked around her. People kept coming in and out, shouting greetings to one another or saying their goodbyes. "It was nice to be able to sit back and relax, forget about my problems for a while..." she said with a shrug. She didn't have many problems but there were some things that drove her crazy. Like her missing brother...or all the homework she had...or when she was going to meet up with Jace again.

Liam sighed a little and smiled. "I know what you mean." he said before he drank some of his butterbeer and felt the usual warmth. He could only have one a day as he was aware what it did to house elves, and he had a similar scenario.
