A Serious Matter (Kadie/Closed)

Kadie almost chocked on her coffee, but she managed to keep no expression on her face.

"He got pretty rough with you?" she questioned with a quirk of her eyebrows. As it was, she couldn't imagine Jacob ever being rough with anyone, but since when had Cassie ever been untruthful with her?

So far, she'd come to trust Jacob, a feat in and of itself that many guys had said would be impossible. But she had to wonder if maybe her judgement had been misplaced somehow. She shook those thoughts off though. She did trust Jacob.

Cassie nodded, a little reluctant to explain, but she did anyway, it was Dee after all. "He got rough, forcing me onto the floor, I was sitting down at the time. But when I told him to stop kissing me and pushed him off me, he guessed I was seeing someone else, things got a little ugly. He called me a whore and a very *friendly* person. That was why I slapped him." she told Kadie everything with her voice void of emotion, she knew that this would be a side of Jacob that she hadn't seen before. "I'm sorry that it happened, but you should know" she said softly.

Kadie opened and shut her mouth, not really knowing what to say.

"He............forced you to the floor?" she asked feeling like she was pale in the face. Her confusion over everything was just making all of this that much harder. She only knew that she cared about Jacob. But should she?

"Uh yeah...............thank you for telling me," she said softly wondering. She cared about Cassie, and it hurt to hear that Jacob could have gotten rough with her, but she hadn't heard Jacob's side of the story yet. All of this was just new to her, and the last time she'd trusted a guy, she'd had her heart stomped on and thrown away. But Jacob was not Justin.

"I'm sorry that he did that to you Cass," she added sincerely.
