Gabby sighed for what seemed the hundreth time that morning as she made her way around the cafe. She sent the plates and mugs to be washed up with a flick of her wand before wiping the tables clean. Normally she would have been doing all of this in good spirit, singing or playing music. But since the she had split with Ryan, she hadn't been herself. She winced as she heard something smash in the kitched.

Mari entered the cafe mistakenly thinking it was another shop. She hadn't payed attention to the exterior much and just walked in. When she opened the door and a bell clanked a few times she was surprised. She could've sowrn it used to be something different. She would have left if it weren't for the delicious aroma that pulled her in. "Helloooo?" Mari called. She spotted another girl in the cafe. It must've been the owner since there was no one else there. She looked dreadful.

Gabby looked up as someone entered, another girl who looked older than her. "Hi, take a seat I'll be with you in a minute" she said, before disappearing into the kitchen to repair the broken plate. As she entered the front of the cafe again she grabbed up a pad and pencil to take the girls order.

Mari looked up before allowing her eyes to wander around the shop. It was cute. It almost reminded her of the boutique her aunt had owned in Italy. There was a cafe attached to it. She would work there sometimes and learned how to cook. She saw the girl coming towards her. "Hello." Her eyes trailed down to the pad of paper. "Oh, I think I will just take a coffee for now." She said smiling politely.

Gabby just nodded, as she didn't seem able to smile she just turned away. "Coming up" she said, her voice lacking it's usual enthusiasm. She went and poured a cup of coffee, charming it with her wand like she always did. "Here you go" she said as she set the coffee down in front of the girl. "Cappucino, expresso or latte" she said, explaining the charm. "It should hopefully be the best cup of coffee you drink" she said. That was part of the appeal. Magic allowed her to charm things so customers got exactly what they wanted. She moved away and grabbed a slice of her popular cheesecake. Immediately feeling better as it transformed itself into white chocolate cheesecake, it was a slice of heaven for Gabby.
