Kevin smiled. "I would probably cry myself. I don't handle sorrow very well. How did you get those scars? Was there a cat fight, and I missed it! Damn it! Hope they aren't bad scars though. Maybe I can help heal them a little."

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Without even thinking about it Gabby pulled off her top, glad she was wearing her bikni under her clothes. Most people were a little taken aback by her scars. Her most recent one went straight down the middle of her chest, from the base of her neck to just above her belly button. The other two flanked it as they stretched along opposite collarbones. They were the same lenght and it created an oddly symmetrical pattern. "There was more than one" she said with a slight grin, inspecting her longest scar as it had split open the other day and she wasn't sure if it had healed.

Kevin was a little taken aback when Gabby decided to strip in front of him, but then again, he shouldn't really be surprised about anything she did. He stared at her scars, a slight bit of shock on his face, and looked back up into her eyes. "Who did this to you? What the hell happened?"

"They're all from different people" she started, confident that her new scar had pretty much re-healed and was ok again. "This one, my oldest" she said, pointing to the scar on her left collarbone. "I got when I was eight from my half brother. This one came from a girl called Lucretia, I broke my wrist as well because at the time she cursed me I was flying and she knocked me off from broom." Gaby continued, pointing to the one identical to her oldest. "And this one" she said, sighing as she ran her finger lightly down her longest and most recent one. "Came from a duel with Vannah, the girl my ex fiance left me for" she finsihed, looking up at Kevin to see who it was taking it, not everone liked to know the details, even though he had asked.

Kevin shook his head sadly as Gabby explained her injuries, but at the story of her latest scar he got an angry look on his face. "I hope she got the worst of the fight. Stupid s1ut homewrecker needs to be put in the hospital, along with that scumbag ex boyfriend of yours. I could do it for you, if you wanted me too."

Gabby was a little suprised at Kevin's anger, but she didn't comment, because she felt exactly the same way. She shook her head, "I just want to forget it ever happened." she said, looking up at him. "But if I ever feel the need for revenge, I know who to come to" she said with a smile. She looked up at the sun, then out across the lake. "Do you fancy a swim?" she asked suddenly.

Kevin smiled, and calmed himself down, sensing that was what Gabby wanted. He took a deep breath, and streched his arms out. "Yeah, if you ever feel like revenge just give me a holler, I have some pretty diabolical schemes in mind." He chuckled as Gabby's mood shifted yet again. "I love to swim! Let's do this!" Kevin got up, and striped off his shirt.

Gabby laughed at him gently, it wasn't malicious laughter, she just felt relaxed and almost happy, for the first time in a while. She pulled off her skirt so she was just wearing her bikini. Standing up she ran up to an outcrop of Rock and dived into the lake. Surfacing she looked back at Kevin and smiled. "Come on, the water's lovely" she called, grinning.

Kevin smiled, and ran over to the same outcrop that Gabby had. He stood there for a second, his arms, held out in front of him, like a professional. He smiled down at Gabby, and shouted at her. "LOOK OUT BELOW!" Kevin leapt into the air, did two backflips, and splashed down into the water. He resurfaced, a grin on his face. "Your right, the water is lovely. It makes it all the more better being here with you though."

Gabby laughed at his antics. "I'm not sure about that. I haven't been very good company recently." she said ruefully. "I haven't even given him the ring back." she said with a sigh. "You know what? I'm not going to. He'd probably just give it to her anyway. He bought it for me, it's mine." she said firmly, wondering how Ryan would take that. The possibilty that it would irritate and anger him appealed to her.

Kevin chuckled and smiled at Gabby. "I think your great company! Just for comments, and internal arguements like that. Your right, you shouldn't give the ring back. You should wear it everyday, and have him see yo wear it. Give him something to be guilty about more than he should already be." Kevin swam over to Gabby, smiling. "Enough about your ex though. What do you wanna do right now?"

Gabby smirked as she listened to what Kevin proposed. "That would drive him mad" she mused. "He'd be miserable." she added, with a grin, it didn't bother her anymore. She shrugged, "I have no idea, just relax and soak up the sun for a bit?" she suggested, hoping he would be content to do nothing for a while. "Maybe an ice cream later" she said as it occured to her.

Kevin smiled at Gabby's suggestion. "Sounds great to me. I like to fill my day's off with relaxation. Why cause more stress than is needed in life, and I absolutely love Ice Cream! I'm gonna hold you to that." Kevin smiled, and then dived under the water, resurfacing behind Gabby. "Race you to the shore!"

Gabby laughed, Kevin was so optimistic and postive. There was no way of preventing that sort of attitude from rubbing off on you if you stuck around for long. She nodded, agreeing to the race. She hadn't seen where he went but she shot off towards the shore. Just as she set foot on ground, she turned to see how close behind her Kevin was.

Damn she's fast.... Kevin thought as he raced towards the shore, she beat him, but just barely. Kevin climbed out of the water, and lay down by the shore, letting the warm sun dry his body. He looked over at Gabby and chuckled. "You were like a fish out there, how long have you been swimming?"
