Angel kept quiet. She didn't believe that, or was it that she didn't want to? She wanted to say more and the resistance to do so was very rough.

Angel took a step back. She sighed. "You're getting married." She said not as a question, but as a death sentence. The image of an open newspaper flashed through her mind with the announcement.

Angel turned her head away and bit her lip. It was a painful truth. "She'll never love you like I do." She said almost too softly to hear.

He sighed and took a step closer to her "And I will never love her like I love you." he said as a pain came up in his chest. It was painful to say but true.

A wide smile spread across her face and she took a step closer to him. Angel cupped her hands around his face and kissed him passionately. This was the way it should be, or so she thought.

The Angel stepped away and slid her strappy shoes off. Her feet were killing her. She bent over and picked them up with her forefinger. "Come on, we're going to go dance." She decided. She grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the tree.

"Oh, please!" Angel said exasperated as she kept leading him out of the garden. "It'll be fun, I promise." She said. Angel stopped abruptly unsure of how to get out of the garden area. She started down the first path she saw, but it was the wrong way and she had to go back all the while dragging him along with her.

Vannah stopped and looked at him. "She won't know it's me." She reassured. "And it's just one dance. There's nothing wrong with dancing. It will completely innocent." Angel promised him. "Please. For me?" She asked widening her eyes and smiling a little. Her face resemble a puppy almost. She batted her eyes for effect.
