Dru slowed down, noticing that he wasn't with her anymore, and turned to see him back on the small island. She sighed, silently cursing herself for doing it, and swam up to the island and sat down beside him. "Listen, under other circumstances, who knows," she took a deep breath and let it out in a long sigh, "I just..." she looked away from him, tucking her knees close to her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs.

Larten sighed " Im just a ass....A stupid git . " he said remembering Cassie's words at the candy store " You deserve better . Im just going to live here on this island and name it "Hogwarts 2 " he said smiling at her . " Im hopeless...Everytime i get a girl i like ...She is ethier taken or dont want me...Because im cocky and stupid and to obessed with my looks to care...But thats not me...I can prove to you if you just let me " he said turning to her .

Dru rolled her eyes yet again, "Well instead of saying it and being all depressed, do something about it. Saying it won't do any good." She lay her head on her knees and looked over at him, "You have to make a conscious effort to change, and that doesn't mean telling someone you'll prove it to them."

Larten looked at Dru and understood what she meant . He smiled at scooted over to her . He looked up at her with a grin . He stood and let out his hand " Lets go then ...If you want to see my concious change..." he said still grinning " I'm going to change for you ..." he said looking down on her " I promise...Lets go...This is going to be the best night of your life " he said .

"I said I can't, I have a lot to worry about right now. I'm not exactly taken but..." she shook her head. "It'd be too much for me. I don't need another guy in my life right now." Not with the problems she already had. Dru looked away from him, away from his hand.

Larten lifted his hand steadly ..." O...." he said turning from her " God ...Why are all the great girls taken...." he said sitting back down and looking at her " Well ....You can lay down if you want...Im going to take a quick nap...It seems its the only thing i can do without getting rejected " he said laying down and closing his eyes . He scooted over and left a little spot .

Dru glared at him and went over to him and smacked him, "Wallowing in self pity won't help either," she said, her eyes hard. She hadn't hit him hard, just enough to satisfy the urge. Then she was back in the water again heading back to shore.

Larten stood and smiled and jumped in after her " Nah....I dont wallow " he said and catched her foot and pulled her into him " Dru...Im sorry..." he said and let her go " Ill talk to you later . Bye " with a wink he went under water and back to the shore . He put on his cloths " Ill leave if you want me to Dru ! " he yelled across the lake at her.

Dru came up the shore and dried herself with the wand, then did the spell again to change back into her regular clothes. "Do whatever you want," she said, then started walking back up to the castle. She didn't really care anymore, she wanted to go up to her dorm and sleep before she had to go back to the club.
