Her sobs eased and her flow of tears slowed down. She leaned back a little from Ryan, wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry sweetie, it just caught me off guard" she said, apologising. "I talked to Kay about it, she said that I should take you to meet my parents sometime." Gabby said, feeling herself calm down a litle. "Oh and you have to meet Kay, she's managed to get herself involved" Gabby said with a weak smile, although she was glad she had Kay.

Ryan smiled "That is a good idea, and I would love to meet kay and your parents."

Gabby smiled slighty. "Within five minutes of telling her the news, she managed to become a bridesmaid and our wedding planner" Gabby said. "I said I would check with you first, it is our wedding, but I thought it was a great idea, someone our age will know what we want best" she said, smoothing her hair as she spoke. "She offered to come with us to meet my parents as well, she thought it might take some of the heat off us" she added, wondering what Ryan would think of that.

"Thanks sweetie, I hope everything's going to be ok" she said softly, squeezing his hand. Ryan had been nearly the only thing to make her stick around during the past few months, and she wouldn't let go of him easily. "I'm sure with a little time my parents will love you." she added, saying it not only to him, but to herself as well, as she tried to quell her nerves.

"Thanks honey" Gabby said softly, smilng at him. Then she remembered where they were. "Well I assume both of us are here for a reason?" she said teasingly, back to her pld self for now as laughter danced in her eyes and her voice spoke of challenges.

"And since I made the team as Seeker, and have tried out for captain, I thought I should start training, so..." Gabby trailed off, a grin spread across her face. "So how about a little race?" she finished softly, hoping he would say yes.

"Good" Gabby said softly, grinning. She was lighter and smaller than Ryan, which gave her an advantage. "So how about one lap round the pitch, we have to go round the hoops" she suggested, shifting on her broom slightly so she was ready to shoot off.
