Vannah stood in shock for a moment before reacting. Her face eased into a smirk. "I was simply suggesting..." Vannah said letting herself trail off. "Well, nevermind that. It's quite obvious you get offended easily." She took a step closer the girl and placed two fingers on the tip of the wand. "You won't be needing that, dear. I'll spare you the humiliation.....for now." In one quick movement Vannah snapped the very tip of the wand in half. It would be easy enough to repair, with the aid of a wandsman, but enough damage to prevent its use anytime soon. Vannah laughed. "See you around." She said waving as she turned and walked outside.

Casie stood rooted to the spot, shaking with fury. All her intincts were telling her to go and fight the girl. But with no wand there was no way she would win. She turned to Malcom, not looking him in the eye. "I've got to go" she said, in a forcefully calm voice. Without another word she turned and left, stakling up the stairs and to the common room.
