Boredom brings results

Empty, so empty that one could hear the wind as it passed through through the open windows and around pillars. The pale light of the fading sun cast its long shadows upon both wall and floor, but all was not shadows. next to one of the pillars cloaked in darkness stood a girl her hair blowing gracefully around her face and her cloak and dress swayed gently from the breeze. Pandora was bored and couldn't think of anything to assail that feeling, and if there was one thing she loathed it was pure and utter boredom. Though she did have to admit some of her nastiest and more ingenious plots sprung up from just this sort of desperation. She wondered for a moment where everyone had disappeared to, there were usually at least one or two students roaming around the corridors aimlessly.

Emma walked slowly through the corridors.She looked around,finding that no one was in sight.Where has everyone gone?,she wondered to herself.For several dull moments she wondered through the corridors aimlessly,untill she saw another girl standing a few feet in front of her.She reckonized her to be a girl in Slytherin,Pandora.She had never spoken to her,but she'd seen her walking around or heard of her in the latest gossip.She began to walk slowly,curious weather Pandora would be a typical Slytherin or mabey a bit...nicer than most.She hoped her to be nicer.

Pandora saw the other figure and smirked, it was a little ravie how disgustingly cute. Oh well she was going to have to take whatever she could get and if the other girl got too annoying there was no one around to see her throw a few harmless hexes. Anything was better then standing there totally bored and hoping that something would happen or that she could find an opportunity to make something happen. "What are you doing out here all alone, don't kiddies like you usually travel in packs."

Oh how great,Emma thought,as she forced herself not to roll her eyes.It was another typical Slytherin:desperate for trouble.She pauesed for a moment not knowing wheather she should use a smart commeback or not."And why would we do that?"she said cooly at last,"And besides,I think your refering to it the wrong way.We tend to call it "firends" not "packs","she said,not wanting to get this older Slytherin too riled up...but just a little wouldn't hurt.

"Whatever, though packs have a stronger bond and will to survive but if you'd rather be part of a non self sustaining group that is only held together by mutual interests your funeral." Pandora said dramatically, at least as long as she was being like this she wasn't randomly doing something actually mean that she could get in trouble for if for some reason she allowed herself to get caught. Besides the munchkin person seemed to at least have something akin to intelligence which meant that Pandora wasn't going to get bored too quickly.

Emma smirked,amused.Perhaps ther did exist a Slytherin that had some brains-besides of coarse the skill of hexes."Yes,"Emma said thoughtfully,"I suppose so,but friends have the advantage of the bonds and love they share with each other-not trying to sound all mushy or anything.But therefore the'll face whatever stands in the way of a friend.Packs simply stick together to find basic needs in life-such as food and so on,"Emma said.

"You've never actually watched a pack before have you, like a pack of wolves. There's a lot more there then just food." Pandora sighed and leaned against her pillar "And if friends are really like that then why are you so alone and undefended." She wasn't sure about love and all that in friendship but of course as friends go she had Lucretia and Vannah and they might as well be concidered pack mates. There were united and would fight for one enough for as long as it took and despite the cost.

"Yes,"Emma said,"I have seen a pack of wolves...But,anyway,I'm not with my "pack" now because I was just on my way to Ravenclaw Comman Room to see them.Where is your "pack" at?"

[Pandora D'Winter]

"I'm part of something more akin to a group of singular predators who would do anything to protect or avenge the others." Pandora said coolly not caring to describe the complexity that made up her and those who she called her friends. She doubted a little girl like Emma could handle it all. "Maybe I we should go find you some nice boy who can explain it in terms you can understand."

Emma rolled her eyes,"Yes maybe if I were some prep who only cared about hair and good looks.But considering I'm not,I think I'm going to have to decline that offer."

Pandora sighed dramatically "Whatever you say princess." She stared at the other girl, why hadn't the poor things survival instincts kicked in and told her to leave. For a moment Pandora thought that she too never really backed down from anything no matter the odds but quickly shook off the thought. Oh well at least the younger girl was safe as long as Pandora remained unbored by her.

"Princess?"Emma repeated in a mocking tone,"Yeah,didn't you just hear me say I wasn't a prep?"she said,smirking,"Whatever...."

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Oh sorry princess" Pandora teased, when she found something that annoyed someone she always had to make a little bit of a jab. "Why are still here again." The girl didn't seem to want to be there, was she just masochistic or a glutten for punishment. Either way in amused Pandora greatly.

"Mostly because I'm bored," Emma said truethfully, "And why are you still here? It's not like a Slytherin to have a "chat" with a Ravenclaw."

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Oh darling sorry maybe this wasn't exactly clear, but whatever goes on here isn't a chat and you are simply a form of entertainment." Pandora's voice was almost deadly pleasant, she wasn't going to lie or pretend to be nice when it wasn't worth it. Besides the other girl had pretty much admitted that the only reason she was there was to fend off boredom, Pandora favorite pastime.
