Personality: Shaw is an intelligent and good looking guy who has high expectations of himself and his work. He studies hard, knowing if he wants something good to come from life, he needs to work for it. He likes to take on responsibilities, feeling the need to help others and would be happy to help tutor fellow students. He's often seen as a quiet young man, although this is mainly down to keeping his head down and out of trouble. With his friends, he is a "Cheeky chappy" as once described and likes to have a laugh with his mates.
Background: Shaw comes from a single mother background. His mother, a witch, refuses to reveal to Shaw who his dad is, only telling him that he was a "wizard that couldn't commit." Since he was a small boy, Shaw has many memories of his mother having many boyfriends, some of which made a mark on Shaw, others that did not. He would one day like to find out who his father is, but at the moment, respects his mother's wishes and has not asked her for a very long time. These experiences have made him want for a future that involves a woman he truely loves and give the life he always wanted to his future children. He wants his future kids to have a great dad, something Shaw has never had.
