Cassie flicked her wand at the door and it swung open. Gently, she made Malcom float through the doors and land softlyon the nearest bed. As soon as she had released the spell she sat down, having until then not realised the strain it had put on her. As the nurse came bustling over to see what the fuss was Cassie pointed towards Malcom. "He got hit by a bludger at close range. I think he has a broken rib" she said.

"Aren't those supposed to be strapped down," Malcom said suspiciously, remembering a book he had read, named Quidditch Through The Ages.

"Malcom can you shut up for like a second?" Cassie asked as she nursed a throbbing head. The spell had worn her out and Cassie was never happy when she was tired. She looked up and saw the nurse walking up to her with a steaming mug. Cassie accpeted it gratefully before the nurse turned back to work on Malcom. She sighed, "I'm sorry, I get snappy when I'm in pain." she said, apologising.

"You've got it good!" Malcom laughed, "I'm snappy sometimes when I'm not in pain!" As he laughed his stomach ached. The nurse brought over another mug, and although the mug burned his hand it did not hurt as much as his stomach. He graciously thanked the nurse for the liquid.

Cassie smiled tiredly. "Malcom, if you do become a Ravenclaw, remind me to never see you" she groaned. Cassie was joking however and she watched as the nurse seemed to just pop his rib pack in place. "Feel any better?" she asked.

"Lots better, thanks." His hand was starting to burn now that his stomach wasn't, but he was very grateful for Cassie. If he had not met her in the Entrance Hall he would be laying backwards on the Quidditch Pitch with a broken rib, or limping all the way up to the infirmary. "Is it o.k. for me to get up?'

Cassie nodded her head. "Probably, although where are you going to go?" She asked, finishing off her mug and discovering her headache had gone. "You might as well just stay here until you get sorted, it'll be comfier." she added.

"What about Chao? My owl. And my luggage? They're still out on the Quidditch pitch." Malcom thought for a moment. "I suppose I will stay here, though."

Cassie sighed. "I suppose I could go and fetch them. I'll leave them in the small room off the entrance hall. They'll be safe there, my broom's down there anyway so I might was well." Cassie said as she got up and handed her mug back to nurse and murmured a thanks. "See you aournd Malcom" Casie said as she made her way to the door.

"Thank you, and goodbye!" Malcom called, and smiled as he waved goodbye.

Cassie smiled at Malcom and left the hospital wing. When she had walked partway down the corridor she leaned back on the wall and closed her eyes. She always seemed to atract trouble.
