Malcom Diggory placed his luggage on the damp grass near the entrance to the Quidditch pitch, and walked out to the middle of the field. A large wooden box stood, a couple of feet from him. He wondered what it was for. They must be for Quidditch.

Cassie hooked her new broom ober her shoulder and walked out to the quidditch pitch. she hadn't really done much flying before but she had thought it was time she learnt. As she reached the pitch though, she saw a familiar person. "Hello" she called out.

Startled, Malcom turned around, hitting his leg on the box. Suddenly, the box sprang open and several objects sped off. He looked up and saw Cassie. "Hel-" Malcom's greeting was cut short as a jet black ball collided with his stomach, forcing him backwards on to the ground.

Cassie whipped her wand out and muttered as she directed her wand at the flying canonball. It stopped in mid air and dropped to the ground. Cassie quickly made sure no more would come flying out and hurried to Malcom's side. "Are you alright?" she asked anxiously.

"What was that?" He had an idea. Probably a bludger, he thought, but he needed to get confirmation. The entire thing had been a blur.

"I think it was a bludger" Cassie said hesitantly. "To be honest I don't really know. Are you sure you're ok?" she asked anxiously.

"No, I'll be o.k." He started to stand up, but heard small crack around his rib cage. Ow. As much pain he was in, he started towards the exit to the Quidditch pitch. It took him a couple of seconds before he realized for the second time in one day how much he didn't know about the castle. "Umm... Where's the infirmary?"

Cassie smiled at his bravery. "Come on, you can't walk like this" she said firmly, she waved her wand and the balls went flying back into the box that snapped shut.

Malcom hesitated. "I guess." He winced a little as he limped towards the exit.

Cassie sighed and shook her head. Waving her wand she lifted Malcom gently into the air. You would never make it to the hospital wing" She said. "So don't complain" she said firmly. She made him hover before her as she made her back to the castle.
