Cassie sat down suddenly, not trusting herself to stay on her feet. "Thank you. I'm sorry" she started. "I know I've put you in a difficult position," she said, not able to look him in the eye she stared at the ground. Cassie tucked her feet under the edge of her skirt, painfully aware that Julius had seen her naked.

Julius looked flabbergasted at Cassie. "You didn't do anything but be your own wonderful self............Cassie..............I was the idiot who couldn't control themselves." Julius felt sick at himself. He held his stomach, and bent over, hoping the feeling would pass. He doubted that it would though. As he looked back up at Cassie, he wanted to punch himself for remembering how perfect her body was, and wishing he could see it again.

Cassie looked up, her cheeks rosy. "Yes but I tempted you, I kissed you first" she said softly. She began to comb her blond hair out using her fingers. Cassie bit her lip, she wanted Julius, but he didn't seem to want her, Cassie had given in to her desires but he was keeping her at arm's distance.

Julius sighed. "I don't blame you for any of that hun. I have a history with women, and not a good one mind you, and I knew exactly what would happen if I came here today. Yet, still I came, and I don't have anyone to blame for that but myself." Julius sat still, staring at the ground, wondering what the aftermath of this would be.

Cassie got up and kneeled in front of Julius. She raised his chin with her fingers and looked at him. "Look at me" she said. "You're not totally to blame. It happened and now we hva to face it, I wanted you, I want toy" she broke off, biting her lip and look away through the trees.

Julius looked into Cassie's eyes, and he could see that she truly meant what she said. Julius was beyond reason at the moment though. He was just so ashamed. "Please hun, just leave me alone. You are still a child hun, you act on emotion. That is natural. I am supposed to be past that. I am supposed to act on reason, and I failed. I let myself down."

Cassit sat back and pulled her knees up, wrapping her arms around them. Her head was swirling and she didn't know what to say. "I'm not a child. I'm jsut a bit young" she started then broke off, she couldn't get what was in her head to sound right. Cassie lay her head on her knees, looking to the side as she tried to figure out how she felt.

Julius smiled a little, and lifted Cassie's chin up. "I am not saying that it is a bad thing that your a child hun. I wish I still had that carefree life. Don't try and grow up to fast hun. Enjoy these moments while you still can."

Cassie lifted her face free of Julius' fingers and looked away. "I'm not growing up too fast. But I don't see why you can't see." she said frustrated. She got up and started to pace around, her mind was full yet she didn't ahve the words. He had spoken about love. She sighed, and continued to pace, glancing at him every now and then quickly.

Julius didn't know what to say, but he knew that he had to get away from this place, and find a place to get his own air. He smiled, and cleared his throat, thinking he might say something before he left, but nothing came out. He shook his head, and stood up. He began to slowly walk away, knowing that Cassie would be safe now that they were out of the forest.

Cassie looked up to see Julius walking away. She followed him quickly and placed a hand gently on his arm. "Julius..." she started softly, but she could not continue with words. Instead, her eyes spoke for her, bright as emeralds they told him of, yes, her fear and confusion, but also of her certainty, her passion, her desires, and her love. Love did not grow quickly, but she felt it within her heart as a tiny flame she did not want extinguished. She shook her head slightly, asking him silently to not leave her. Cassie closed the distance between them by taking a step and placed her other hand gently on his cheek. She was offering herself to Julius, and she knew that if he didn't accept this time, she would not be able to return to him.

Julius felt the hand on his shoulder, and he knew that he wished he hadn't. He didn't want to hurt her, but it seemed like that was going to be the only way to end this messy situation. As she turned his head towards her, and he looked into her emerald eyes, he sighed, and took her hands in his. No words would be able to accurately portray what he was feeling, and so, he just threw her hands back at her, and turned his back on her, walking back up to the school, not daring to look back at the path of destruction that he must have left behind.

Cassie stood there stunned at his reaction. She watched his retreating back as a lump grew in her throat and her eyes prickled with tears. Without a word she turned back to the forest and once again let it envelope her as she got lost between to the giant trunks. Thinking about what had gone on was too hard so she just let herself blunder through the forest, not caring if a monster did come and attack her. Cassie continued to stumble through the maze of trees until she sank down exhausted. Curling up as she pulled her hood over her face, she fell into a sleep with haunting dreams.
