Cassie reached the corridor and sighed, Kay wasn't there. Not bothering to wait for her, she paced up and down the corridor creating a dance studio. As the door appeared with a pop she pulled it open and went inside. Dumping her bag she left off her ballet shoes and began to warm up, using the barre. She got some music going and decided to just make something up as she waited for Kay to arrive.

Kay wandered down the corridor to the room of requirement. She noticed Cassie wasn't there. She though she'd give it a moment or two. There was a small silence and she had a feeling Cassie was already there. She knocked on the room of requirement. No answer. She imagined a dance studio where Cassie was, she paced up and down three times and opened the door. Sure enough there was Cassie. "Well this studio looks mighty fine" she said. "Sometimes the room of requirement can be a trouble because you can't hear anything inside" she said laughing.

Cassie whirled to a finish as she saw Kay enter the room. She frowned, "I thought I had left the door open for you." she shrugged, and made the music stop. "Oh well, you're here now. We need to warm up first." Cassie said as she looked at what Kay was wearing. "That might not be entirely suitable" Cassie said, thinking of her own blue leotard.

"Nope" she said, "the door automatically closes i think i should have told you that" she said "oops" she said, "yeah i ddint know what to wear, i dont have any leotards or slacks suitable" she added. "Don't worry i'll change" she got out her wand waved it and appeared in a red leotard with white tights underneath. "this should be better right?" she asked.

Cassie nodded and smiled. "Right" she said. "Right we'll get started then." Cassie announced. She sat down and motioned Kay to do the same. "We'll start with some easy stretches, I don't think you're ready for the splits just yet." Cassie teased before continuing. "So just copy what I do really, they're self explanatory. Cassie began to stretch. She began with her legs out straight in front of her and focused on her arms. She placed one arm across her body and hooked round it with her other, gently pulling it closer to her body before releasing. She then linked her fingers and pushed them forward while keeping her back still. "You okay?" Cassie asked Kay.

Kayleigh smiled and tried to copy the moves of Cassie, sha managed pretty well she though although some bits were wonky, but she knew they'd get better in time. "As okay as i'll ever be" she said smiling, "what's next?" she asked ready and energetic.

"Legs" Cassie said. She opened her legs wide, nearly doing the splits. "Don't worry, until you're as flexible as me you won't be able to stretch this wide, jsut try as wide as you can without hurting yourself" Cassie encouraged and then placing her palms on the ground slid them forward and let her body follow. Her body was now touching the ground with her arms stretched out but she knew that Kay wouldn't be able to do this yet.

Kayleigh stretched as far as she could. It wasn't very far, but far enough. She copied Cassie as best as she could. She held it for a little bit then couldn't anymore, "sorry i'm just not really flexible or strong enough to hold it for as long as you" she said. "But i'll get it soon enough" she added smiling. "What's next?" she asked enthusiastic.

Cassie stood up and grabbed her ankle, pulling it up behind her back until it reached her bum. Then she let go after a bit and did it to the other leg. "I don't expect you to be able to do this just yet" Cassie said as she once again lay on he floor and swiftly and smoothy pushed herself up into a bridge. She held it for a second then came down from it and looked to see how Kay was getting on.

Kayleigh couldn't really do the first movement but she remembered the bridge from younger years. She performed it well, but a little shakily. "Wow i havent done that for year" she said getting up and shaking her arms and legs. She conjred a bottle of water out of the air and drank some. She then conjured another and handed it to Cassie, "just though i'd save you the trouble of doing it when you wanted some" she said witha smile.

Cassie smiled and took the bottle, "Thanks, and your bridge was good, you had a good shape, even if your tension could be improved" Cassie said encouragingly. "So is there anything you particularly want to start with?" Cassie asked as she took a swig from her bottle, then set it down on the floor.

"Thanks a lot" she said, she loved encouragement. Kayleigh drank a bit more of the water "nice pure distilled water" she said "there's nothing like it" she added throwing the bottle in the corner. "Erm," she said thinking, "i want to be able to do what you did yesterday, jump and kick up in the air" she said, "i have no clue what the technical terms are though" she said grimacing.

Cassie laughed, "I hardly ever use them, I prefer the wilder side of dance although the precision of ballet is also extremely important to me." Cassie thought about what she did yesterday. "Was it this?" She asked, not being able to remeber herself. She moved into the middle of the room and began to dance, but this time she had the perfect music for the dance courtesy of the room. She repeated the combination of yestreday, finishing with the split jump in a spiral that her long legs made look amazing. She turned back to Kay as she landed lightly, waiting for an answer.

Kayleigh watched intently, Cassie's dancing was beautiful "i must say you're dancing is a joy to watch" she said, "and yeah this was the dance" she said smiling, "it's not too much trouble is it, cause we could always learn something you want to" she added.

Cassie smiled at Kay's compliment. "I think we should maybe start with something a bit easier, it took me months to learn that" Cassie said with an apologetic smile. "But when I say you can learn it, that will just show how far you've come, and that day will come. If I have anything to do with it" Cassie added, showing she didn't want to disregard Kay.
Cassie paused for a moment, thinking about easier combinations. One came to mind, Cassie shut her eyes and started the music. She took her position, bent down, one arm extended gracefully behind her. At the right place she rose, reversing the positions of her arms before gracefully leaning into an arabesque. The music was slow and gentle and the dance looked fabulous although it wasn't complicated. After Cassie had finished she turned to Kay a smile on her face. "Now that I think you can do." Cassie said, sipping her water.
