Eloise grit her teeth and clenched her fists to keep herself from looking, talking or even thinking about Emilian; She turned away to look around the shop at all the jewelery before quickly realizing she was no longer holding the necklace she had purchased, "Uhh... Emilian, d'you know where I put my necklace?" She asked quietly running a hand through her hair avoiding eye contact with him.

Chase had looked at Emilian in somewhat-horrified disgust, but took the opportunity Eloise had unknowingly given him. With Emilian momentarily distracted, Chase forced his gaze to the display, though he kept some of his attention on what was happening in the shop. His eyes scanned the rows of jewelry until he found what he was looking for. "I'll take those," he said, tapping the case lightly over a wicked-looking tooth of some sort and a silver hoop. If he had to buy something, he may as well stock up so he didn't have to come back.

Emilian sneered at Eloise, "Why would I know where it is?" He looked away from her and back at the case. He opened it and took out what Chase had pointed to, before going behind the counter. "A wonderful choice, Firebrand, it'll look good on you," he said, looking back up at Chase and grinning. He had notice the expression on Chase's face and decided to at least have a little fun.

Eloise walked away from the door and around the counter, bending over she slipped her hand under it. She avoided looking up trying to focus on finding the necklace, it was probably kicked under the counter in their little moment of intimacy or something. Eloise stopped feeling the box she pulled it out quickly before standing up. "Found it." She mumbled opening the box, yep it was hers. Eloise made her way back around the counter avoiding eye contact with Emilian, "Yeah probably will look good on you..." She said agreeing with Chase, anything to keep them from arguing.

Chase was still uncomfortable with the way Emilian grinned at him, but he forcibly ignored it to focus on Eloise. "Thanks." He refused to look directly at Emilian, knowing the discomfort would only increase, even if he was fairly certain that Emilian was only baiting him. There was enough doubt to keep him from blowing it off entirely, though. "How much are they?" He wanted this over so he could get out.

Emilian stepped away from Eloise, glaring down at her and feeling so much more secure when she left. He looked back up at Chase and figured up a slightly exaggerated price, "450, of course, if you ask nicely I could bump it down just a little." His eyes sparkled, but his expression seemed slightly dull in comparison to how they usually looked. He set the pieces on the counter, "Do you want a pretty little box? Or are you going to carry them yourself?"

Eloise grinned at Chase, "No probs." she said running a hand through her hair watching him, her arm now resting an arm against the door watching the boys patronize each other. Eloise bit her lip sighing gently. "Urm Chase... if you're leaving d'you mind if I tag along?" She asked avoiding eye contact with Emilian, Eloise was trying of course to get out of her whole quiet annoyed mood.

Chase glared at Emilian, but spoke to Eloise. "No, I don't mind. There's nothing here but overpriced crap anyway." Not that Chase didn't have the galleons, but he couldn't bring himself to give them to Emilian even if this was the only jewelry store in Hogsmeade. He'd find a way to order what he needed by owl. With that, Chase turned his back on Emilian in complete dismissal, and headed out the door. magikal05.proboards46.com/index.cgi?board=streetsofhogmeade&action=display&thread=3165&page=1#59963

Emilian watched as they left, glad they had, even if the sale had been lost. Perhaps the encounters were enough to keep the both of them away from him. He put the earrings back in their places, staring at them for a minute before closing the case and settling back in a chair to read, an attempt to get his mind off of everything.
