Of all the places in the school this world that Daj truly loved one of the greatest was the pitch. This was a place were the spirit of skill, competition, and sportsmanship reigned. There was strength here, no one depending on there magic to get them through. She smiled and looked up into the air and then down to the broom that she had laid on the grass beside her.

It was the only place she hated other than classes. She never liked Quidditch, and held a bitter loathing towards it. She sat at the Slytherin stands her notebook propped on her legs. The common Room was full, so was the lake and the forest was still wet from the storm. Her quick quotes quill was gliding around the page as she watched her thought pour onto the page it. She would mutter a no when something didn't seem right, and it woudl automatically scratch it out. During this Storm didn't notice the person out on the field.

Daj mounted her broom and started to fly upward when she noticed someone sitting in some of the stands. It was an easy change of direction and she jumped off her broom catching it as she landed a few feet away from the other girl. "Isn't there someplace better to be doing homework." She said when she saw the notebook, she was pretty sure their was a library here, it was like a requirement for every school. Besides Daj had already finished everything that was due for at least the next week. She had been bored on the plane ride over and so she did everything that the teachers had owled her about.

Storms eyes narrowed as she looked up towards the one who spoke.
"If it even is homework." she said thickly, everything that had recently happened affected her mood, she was still dazed.
"Besides everywhere else is full, and I hate having the librarian peer over my shoulder." she waved her hand clearly dismissing the girl, she was in no mood to talk with anyone.

Daj just rolled her eyes "Whatever darling, to each her own I guess." She didn't understand why even that would make someone work over by the pitch. This was more of a place of action then of writing.
She crossed her arms "And the attitudes really needs to die doesn't look good on you." She said looking down, she couldn't stand it when people acted like that, it was just so dumb.

Storm felt this was stupid. She looked back at her notebook. "Rewrite the paragraph." she muttered and watched as it crossed it out, only for it to be re-written again. When done. She slammed her notebook shut, shrunk it with her wand and placed it and her quill in her robes.
"And you just don't look good." she said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. This was going no where as she rolled her eyes at the girl.
"It's really none of your concern how I look." she said, this girl seemed naive to her. The type who took everything in they way they saw fit.

Daj just smirked "oh I'm so sorry I just wanted to help, you look like you need it." She said sarcasm simply dripping from her words.
"I don't have to look good." She said changing back to her normal realistic tone, looking good had never been high on her priority list, the list had basically been topped by being able to beat a guy four times her size and being the best at sports, or yeah and making her dad proud. "All I have to do is live." Living would always be enough.
"And I am sorry but sitting around doing that doesn't seem to be much like living ma'am." The last part was half mockery and half challenge.

Storm smirked, this was what she had been looking for, being able to forget everything.
"I'm sorry I never thought that playing suicidal sports was living, but go ahead, I won't hold you back from your own demise." she propped her elbows on hr knee, resting her head on her arm.
"Art is not sitting around, unlike you, I have a deeper understanding of whats around me, you can't live and ignore what is in front of you, that is the true meaning of life."

Daj almost snapped at the other girl and it took all the self control that she had to not slap the other girl. How dare she even insinuate that Daj didn't understand the world around her, she understood a heck of a lot more then the rest of this school did. She knew that she was supposed to control her temper but there were somethings that just got to her ignorance was one of them. "If You think that you can set there with that notebook calling it art and say that you understand the world better then the rest of us you got another think coming. Just because I prefer doing to setting don't mean I don't understand whats around me. Because I swear to god, you don't know nothing."
She wanted to just beat the liven daylights out of that girl but had to try to control her emotions. She knew she had already gone to far but she was a teenage girl, no one could blame her for it.

Storm could see the girls emotions, it made her want to laugh, but settled for an amused expression.
"And you think that by being angry, that gives you the sense of entitlement to tell me what I do and don't know." she could feel her expression go blank as her eyes went cold.
"Do not speak of things you do not understand, I did not say that I know more than others, though if thats how you interpret it I could care less, I can see the conflict in your eyes, you want to hurt me so badly, to inflict as much pain on me as you can, but what will that prove?" Storm was entertained, she felt like she was asking the girl to dance and obliged to her every will, she found playing with the girls emotions to be one of the most fun she had recently.

Daj knew that this girl was trying to mess with her and she didn't want her to win she couldn't let her win "It would prove nothing except the fact that I can, and I already know that ma'am. And you want to know something else you really just see what you want to, a world you can accept everyone does and telling me that you understand more of that world doesn't prove anything. I'll agree that you probably understand more then I do about this life, but that doesn't mean I don't understand life and it doesn't mean I ignore whats in front of me. I've probably seen more of life outside your little world then you will ever know." To tell the truth one of the reasons she was actually glad she was a witch was she would hate to believe that an entire other world could exist without her knowing about it.

As amusing as this was, Storm strongly disagreed.
"It's not what you know that gives anyone the sense of entitlement of claiming you understand, its what you've seen and witnessed, the pain, the anger, the happiness, love..." she trailed off at the last word, the only love she experienced was her parents love for power, and they love she shared with her cousin who had become like a sister to her.
"Simply saying, is nothing compared to doing and experiencing, if you were to attempt to hurt me, which I highly doubt you could, the illusion of power will over come you, and when you get out there, it wont help you at all." she didn't care if this girl attacked her, she would fight back she wouldn't care about the physical pain, she had become immune to it.
