Vannah smiled and nodded. She waited until he passed her and was too far to zoom back. Vannah then shot her broom upward and sped up. She saw a tiny glint in the air and reached out for it, but it flew away.

Ryan thought it was odd when he noticed that Vannah had not chased him so he shot the quaffle into goal and looked around to find her.

Vannah looked around quickly and saw it hovering by a tower. She shot off in that direction. When Vannah came up near it, she stood up on her broom reached out for it and subtly jumped onto the stands before she had a chance to fall. Vannah held the tiny snitch in her hand and raised it up grinning.

Vannah smiled and thumbed the snitch. "Why, yes it was." She said cockily. "You weren't too bad yourself." Vannah threw the snitch up and caught it.

Vannah laughed. "Yeah....but I don't usually play seeker either....or keeper....or chaser for that matter." She said smiling. She had completely forgotten why she came out there in the first place.

Vannah smiled shyly. She wasn't used to compliments, except from Ryan. "I've watched a lot of games, but I think I like Beater the best." She said excluding the fact that she had gotten knocked down by a bludger earlier. "You're pretty good yourself. Have you tried expanding which positions you play?"

Ryan smiled "A little, ive tried a bit of everything and the only thing im not any good at is seeker... my best is probably beater because it is like the sport i used to play in the muggle world, but i like chaser the best"

Vannah grinned. Her favorite position was beater, too, only she liked hitting the bludgers hard...at other people. Now as she thought about it, it sounded mean. And as she thought about it even more....she realized she was getting soft.
