Vannah grinned. She was always up for a challenge. She looked at him challengingly. "Are you sure you can handle playing against a girl?"

Vannah just laughed and shook her head. "Whatever...." She said doubting his ability. She summoned her broom and walked down to the Pitch to meet it. As it came around a corner, she mounted and kicked off.

"As I recall..." Vannah began as she stopped swooping in and out of the air. "It was a certain, rather amazing, girl that beat you in a racing match about...hm...a week ago." She said smiling teasingly at Ryan.

Ryan smiled "Yea that is true, but there is alot more to quidditch than racing. You are looking at someone who has been training since 1st year to be on the national team."

"Fine, fine....get your hopes up. But don't come crying to me when you're crushed!" Vannah said lightly, jokingly. She flicked her wand and the trunk on the ground flew open. The bludgers were struggling to escape. "One quaffle, a snitch, two bats..."She said levitating each. Each bat waited patiently by their hands to accept. The quaffle was right in the middle and the snitch was zoomiing around, unnoticed yet. "....Best if all, the bludger." She said grinning. She let the bludger go, wacked it away to prevent it from hitting them yet. "All set?" She asked before making the call.

"Okay...on three." Vannah said sticking her eand back in its place. "One....Two...." Vannah grabbed the quaffle and zoomed off. "THREE!" She called behind her laughing. A bludger came at her from behind, but Vannah hit it over to where Ryan was. She zoomed off to the goal posts.

Ryan laughed and chased off after Vannah as he knocked the bludger away from him with ease.

As Vannah neared the goal posts, she threw the ball in. "Scooooooooooore!!!!!" She yelled punching her fist in the air.

Ryan grabbed the quaffle after the goal "Nice cheat, I mean goal." he said as he laughed and flew toward the other goal.

"Cheat? Moi?" Vannah said pretneding to look offended. "You know, I would never, ever----" She said laughing. She stopped when she saw a flicker in the sky and zoomed towards it, leaving her statement unfinished.

Ryan saw Vannah zoom to the snitch and he chunked the quaffle at the goal posts and followed her.

Vannah heard the swish of a broom breaking the air behind her. She sped off, but as she reached the place where she thought the snitch was zooming in and out of, it was gone. Vannah turned on her broom only to see a bludger coming dtraight at her. She swung her bat in a feeble attempt to get it away, but it hit her. She wobbled on her broom and the world went dizzy.
