Vannah brushed her hand over her right pocket, where the picture she kept with her was, for reassurance. She looked down. "Does it matter?" She said, trying hard not to let her voice wobble.

All of the blood drained from her face. She cursed Brenna silently. "Wh--what did she tell you?" Vannah asked keeping her voice steady.

"You believed her." Vannah said looking at him. It was not a question, more of a confirmation statement. Hurt filled her eyes.

Ryan looked at her "I didnt know what to belive Vannah, Im sorry but she told me that right after our fight, but when I started to think about it more I started to believe that you didnt do it, and as I was saying it just then you proved to me that you didnt." he looked at her "She was trying to get me to do something to you to hurt you and I told her that I would never do that."

Anger rushed through every vain in her body. "She's just like him. If she had thought before....." She said bitterly. "I suppose she left out the part about how she stole a baby from his own mother. How she can't even see him. No...she wouldn't have said that, it would make her look bad now wouldn't it?!" Vannah said harshly. Her hands balled into fists. "Little miss perfect bitc--" She muttered under her breath.

Ryan looked at Vannah worried that she might do something bad, he put his hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her.

In all truth, Vannah needed to tell someone. She needed to hear it for herself and let it out in the open. "I knew him. He lived near my family house when he was playing for the Irish. We were friends, but it wasn't good enough. On visiting days he would come to Hogwarts to see me. It was nice," Vannah said smiling at t he memory," but then he'd been gone, on tour or something, for months at a time. " "Then my parents wanted me to transfer to Beaxbatons. They didn't like how he changed me. They thought maybe if I was at an all girls school, it would be different. They had to pull some strings to get me to orientation. But then I got there. Oh, god. Everything was so perfect and I couldn't stand it. I need something bad in my life. To drown out some of the good, so I made it the worst possible visit I could." "Then I saw him, walking to a set of apartments right off t he grounds. I followed him. It had been about three and a half months seen I've last seen him. I realized that it really hurt to see him so little. We talked for hours. He told about the stories that were flying around about me. That Hogwarts Girl who managed to corrupt a full school. But I could tell he was impressed. Then after a while---" Vannah stopped. Sadness poured into her eyes. "I-I didn't know. He said nothing would happen. That I could trust him. So, I did. I did exactly what he wanted me to." Vannah bit her lip, trying to stop tears. "Beaxbatons didn't except me, so I went back to Hogwarts. He went back to Quidditch. At the end of the year, I found out that I was having his baby. Nobodyy really found out because they were too excited for Summer Vacation. I went home, and he was there. I-I told him what was going on and he got scared, but he didn't leave. He wanted to stay with me, at least untill I had it." A tear slid down her face. "I g-guess he told his family because they convinced him that I was a horrible person not fit for having a son. After a while, he started to believe it. I got to be with it for a little over a month b-before..." Vannah was shaking now. The tears were huge and streaking down her face rapidly. "They took him away from me. W-we h-hadn't evn n-named him yet. T-They wouldn't l-let m-me see him again." Vannh slid out the piece of paper the had blown out of her pocket the other day in Hogsmeade. "Th-This is all I have." She said handing the picture out to him. It was faded and crumpled. |
