The night was still young when Gwen went into the kitchen to get herself a snack. She smiled at the house elves as she took a seat and they hurried around the kitchen getting something ready for her. She sighed happily at the wonderful smells that filled every inch of the large room. She was glad that the kitchen was so near to her dorm, it made trips like this much more convenient and easier. The house elves brought her a plate and she started eating slowly, munching on a hot roll with butter first.

Gabby headed down to the kitchen, her stomach guiding her. She tickled the pear and headed in, immediately swamped by house elves. REcognising her from previous visits, she didn't even have to ask for her favourite food. She looked round and saw a familiar figure. "Gwen!" she called, delighted to see her. Gabby walked over to her and sat down opposite her. "Hi, it seems like ages in between each time we see each other," Gabby exclaimed smilng at Gwen.

Gwen smiled happily "Yeah, its been like forever since we've gotten together." Her voice was her normal bubbly self and her eyes sparkled. "I've been busy I guess, you know with school and stuff." It was strange how much time had passed though thought Gwen though maybe they were just never in the same place at the same time.
"So whats new." She said before picking up something else from her plate and taking a small bite. She loved the house elves and there cooking, it was just one of the greatest things ever.

Gabby smiled at the house elves as they brought over her plate and a mug of hot chocolate. "Not much, Storm tried to kill me, I nearly died, Ryan professed undying love" At the last part Gabby beamed. She took a sip of the hot chocolate then ate a biscuit the elves had brought her.

Gwen nodded "That's awesome, well not the killing part but the whole love thing. Do you love him back." If someone was confessing undieing love it was always nice to know if the other person felt the same way of if it was a one sided thing in which case it was just terribly sad.

Gabby sighed, a smile on her face. "I love him more than I have ever loved anyone in my whole entire life" Gabby said softly. Her face glowed with happiness as she was talking to Gwen about Ryan.

Gwen's smile brightened, if that was even possible for it to do, at Gabby's happiness. She loved it when her friends were happy especially when they were really happy. "That's really really great, you guys are so wonderful for each other." She had only actually met Ryan once but they were in the same house and she had seen him around at times.

Gabby blushed. "I feel so lucky, everyone she be as happy as we are," Gabby said, her cheeks flushed and her eyes shining. Gabby eyes the house elves as they brought her a slice of chocolate cake, she murmured her gratitude and turned her attention back to Gwen. "Haev you heard about everything?" Gabby asked, she knew that there was lots of rumours flying around but she also knew the truth and wondered if others did as well.
