Gabby walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. She had heard that the jewellery store finally had a new owner and Gabby was taking advantage of the fact to get some new jewellery. She was wearing some of Brooke's new clothes, a pair of shorts and a halterneck top with sandals. Gabby found the jewellery store and stepped inside.

Emilian walked into the main room from the back when he heard someone come inside the store, and stopped just in front of the heavy door. Ryan's girl, was what he thought. She was much too young for him, even Emilian didn't go after girls that much younger than he was. In other words, they were both safe, her from advances, and him from temptation. "If you need anything, just ask," he said, walking up to a display and setting something inside.

When Gabby saw who the new owner was, she almost turned around and walked straight back out, but Gabby wasn't that rude. Placing a smile on her face she thanked Emilian and started to browse. "Did you serve Brooke earlier this week, I noticed she has a new necklace and I was wondering if you had anything that matched it?" Gabby asked, turning her attention to Emilian.

"Do you mean another choker?" he asked, an image of the piece came into his mind, "Or another piece to go with it?" Immediately Emilian's mind went to work, going through the objects on display to find an answer for both questions. He walked out from behind the counter and towards a case.

"I was thinking possibly earrings." Gabby said, taking a few steos towards where Emilian was. Ryan had told Gabby what he had done and she was a little wary of him, but she didn't let it show as she needed this jewellery.

Emilian went over to a tall case full of earrings, studs on one side, hoops in the middle, and the longer ones on the other side. He wasn't as worried about the earrings as he was about the necklaces and things, and so the case wasn't locked. It slid open easily and he pulled down a couple of pairs. "Look at these," he said, holding the small black pieces they were attached to out to her. One pair was a set of studs nearly identical to the dangling heart on the choker, and the other dangled, a small leather knot with a heart hanging from it.

Gabby drew closer and took the earrings to look at them closely. Both pairs were lovely and it was a hard decision to make. Gabby looked up at Emilian, "I'll take the drop earrings please" Gabby said, offering the studs back to Emilian.

Emilian put the studs back and shut the case. "140," he said. They were nearly the same price as the choker, having a bit more silver, but not as much leather. He had found that he rarely went by the prices of the old owner, giving an individual statement for whatever piece was asked for. "So did Ryan jump for joy when he found out I was gone?" he asked, eyes sparkling.

Gabby found her purse and placed the correct amount on the counter, not even caring about the price. When she heard what Emilian said she looked up sharply and her eyes narrowed slightly. "He hasn't talked about it, we've had more interesting things to discuss." Gabby answered her voice guarded. "Can you wrap them please" she asked firmly. Just then some rings in a case by her elbow caught her eye and she turned to look at them. Without thinking she smiled, lost in thoughts of what could be.

Emilian smirked at her reaction to his question and went behind the counter, bending down to get a small box to set the earrings in. He pulled out a small piece of paper and wrapped it, glancing at where her eyes went as he did. "Thinking of proposing? Maybe with a ring he'd learn to keep his hands off of other girls." Because Emilian was definitely the one to be giving relationship advice to someone else. His eyes still smiled at her as he slid the finished box to her.

Gabby blushed, toying with the idea of whether or not she should say something to Emilian or just ignore him. She picked up the box and smiled at Emilian. "I won't be buying a ring today," She said, her voice light and casual. "But you might be seeing Ryan soon" Gabby finished, a glint in her eye. Before Emilian could react she had turned on her heel and had left the shop. As she walked back through Hogsmeade towards the castle she bit her lip, wondering why she had ever said anything in the first place.
