Eloise raised an eyebrow as the girl nodded toward her, she was never greeted with a nod and for some reason Eloise felt a little offended but shrugged it off. "So Gabby... how are things going with Ryan?" she asked rolling her eyes with gritted teeth.

Vannah tilted her head to the side. "Oh, i see. That explains why you've been sent to the Hospital Wing...let's see, how many times was it again? I lost count after a while..." She sneered. She didn't believe Gabby had the courage to try anything in a room full of people, but just in case she was prepared. Her wand was up her sleeve and could easily be pulled out within a second...at the most. At Ryan's name Vannah froze. Interest struck her face and her lips curved into a small smile. She rolled her eyes when she heard Brooke's voice and decided to ignor eher for the moment.

Gabby ignored Vannah's comment but replied to Eloise "Great, never been better" she said flashing her a quick smile. Gabby didn't take her eyes off Vannah as she didn't trust her, but she did greet Brooke who she recognised from the voice. "Hi Brooke, come to join in the fun?" Gabby asked lightly. Studying Vannah for any sign of movement.

Brooke's eyes flashed at Vannah but her voice remained cool, "I couldn't miss it." Her wand was close at hand but she didn't think any actual fighting would break out, if it did she was sure it wouldn't take long for the librarians to take notice.

Vannah's smirk turned into a wide grin. "No, I'm pretty sure he has been better. He is with you, after all." She said. She wondered how the other Slytherin knew him, but had a pretty good idea. She turned to the other Slytherin. "You must be Eloise." She said remembering the conversation she had with Ryan a while ago.

Vannah looked at Gabby sympathetically. "I'm sure there are a lot of things he 'edits' out for you." She said with a sickeningly sweet smile. The child's naivety amazed her. Vannah hadn't seen Storm in a while, but she had heard rumors about a certain encounter with Gabby.

Eloise looked at Gabby, "Mhmm... glad things are going well for you." she said back sarcastically, "Urm... yeah I am Eloise and you are?" She asked before turning toward Vannah "Uhh... what exactly is going on?" she asked biting her lip.

Vannah looked at Eloise. "I'm Vannah, dear." She said introducing herself. "And it appears that Ryan forgot to mention to Gabby what had gone on while she was in the Hospital Wing the first time, or was it the second?" As Vannah finished the sentence her head turned back to Gabby. This was just too easy.

Vannah, The name clicked somewhere in her mind linking to a somewhat painful memory, "Emilian..." she whispered absent mindedly, the name burned in her throat making her wince. Eloise ran a hand through her hair trying to pick up on what was going on.

Vannah's head shot to the side in one sharp movement. "How did you know about that?" She demanded clenching her teeth. She fought had not to let the horrible memories come back, but she was confused as to why a stranger knew one of her most terrifying thoughts.

"Oooh," Gabby said, exaggerating her words. "The time you had a little rendevous in the room of requirement and had a little kiss?" Gabby asked, her voice mocking Vannah. she had seriously underestimated both herself and Ryan. When she saw Vannah's reaction to Emilian's name she bit her lip, although she was now better armed, she was playing a dangerous game.
