Gabby walked into the library with her bag on her shoulder. She found a table in a quiet corner and dumped her bag on it. After finding several of the books she needed, she settled down to work.

Vannah walked into the library. She threw her Potions book onto her usual table and rushed off to find other books. She had quite a few major tests she had to study for and since she wasn't in class to learn it, she had to teach it to herself. She muttered to herself impatiently. She was generally good at stessing herself out more than necessary.

As Gabby went in search of more books she saw Vannah down one of the aisles. Not wanting to talk to her, she spun around and moved off to look for a bok, any book, down another aisle.

Vannah couldn't find the book she needed so she turned the corner and pulled out another book. In the space between the books she saw Gabby. "Great, just what I need." She muttered to heself before pushing the book back. It turned out to be the wrong one anyways.

Gabby looked up and saw a flash of Vannah before the book was replaced in the gap. "Shoot" she muttered under her breath, she found the book she wanted. Making her way back to her table she turned the corner.

Vannah pulled the book and turned the corner exactly when Gabby did. The crashed into each other. "Watch it." She snapped as she bent down to collect her books that fell. Her head shot up and of course, it was Gabby. She muttered something unintelligent uner her breath.

"Like that was my fault," Gabby retorted sharply as she snatched up her books, picking Vannah's last book up to hand to her.

Vannah snatched her book out of Gabby's hand with no hint of gratitude. "Do you want to end up in the Hospital Wing again, child?" She asked in an annoyed tone. She had no intention of doing anything but studying so far, but that could all change quickly.

Eloise pushed the huge library doors open, like a vanity queen, her high heeled shoes making a loud noise as she walked through the library swiftly leaving a perfumed scent behind her, people turned to stare at her but she kept on going until she heard an annoying fmailiar voice. "Oh gosh..." she muttered as she looked round to see Gabby and a tall blonde she hadn't seen before, "Brat 'causing you trouble too?" She asked the girl flicking her hair back.

"I won't" Gabby replied, her voice dripping with venom. She had made her peace with Lucretia but Vannah could still rub her the wrong way. "Oh hi Eloise" Gabby said brightly, her voice edged with sarcasm.

"How could you be so sure?" Vannah asked. Temptation filled her eyes. She heard another voice and before she knew it there was another girl with them. Vannah had seen her in the Common Room before and she gave a small nod of acknowledgement towards the girl.

Gabby's eyes darkened a little, turning from their chocolate brown to almost black. "You're just always out for a fight huh?" Gabby asked her voice filled with contempt. She was fed up with being walked all over and she would defend herself if she had to.

Vannah laughed. "Not always. You're just such an easy target." She added with a smirk. It was true, it was especially easy to torment Gabby.

Brooke had been looking at a book when she heard two unmistakable voices in the next section and moved over to stand directly behind Gabby. "Hello Vannah darling." She said smiling but her eyes flashing. Something about Vannah rubbed her the wrong way, probably the fact that the other girl was evil.
