Eirene hastily finished writing her letter home, keeping her husband away from school would be best for all of them. Sealing the letter with her wand she tied it to the family Eagle owl before sending it back to the manor. She played with the wedding band on her finger, lost deep in thought.

Gabby wandered through the streets of Hogsmeade, not really knowing where she was going. She looked up at the sky and saw an owl soaring through the sky and looked down to where it had departed. She saw her new charm's teacher and Lucretia's mother. "Hi Porfessor" Gabby said politely as she drew nearer.

Elaine slowly looked up, recognizing one of her students from her Charms class. She couldn't recall what year she was, but she seemed younger than Pandora and Lucretia.
"Hello Gabrielle Brocklehurst am I right?" she asked with a small smile, she could at least be nice to her students, she didn't want to intimidate them or frighten them away.

"That's right professor" Gabby returned the smile. "Most people call me Gabby though. This might seem forward but are you Lucretia Seyrrou's mother?" Gabby asked, wondering if she had been right.

Despite her apologizing for being forwards, in her experience, she could tell that Gabby was not brought up in a pure blood household, or at least she was lacking in proper etiquette.
"Yes I am." she said wiping all emotion from her face, she would answer questions, but wouldn't provoke conversation, there were more important things to do now that she was here.

"Well it's nice to meet you" Gabby said, dipping her head in respect. Gabby sensed that her question had touched a nerve as she saw all emotion drain away. "I should go," Gabby said, pausing, "You'll remeber me now, Gabrielle?" Gabby said, slightly emphasising the use of her full name. She nodded to her again politely and turned to walk back to the castle. She didn't fancy ice cream now and she felt as if the sun had gone in when she shivered.

Eirene thought about that, it struck her that she received a letter not long ago from Lucretia about what she had done to a girl. Looking at the girl again she noticed, that this must be her.
"I will. Keep yourself out of trouble, Lucretia has already told me about it." she said in reference to the little attack.

Gabby stopped and turned round to face her professor. "She told you? About both times?" Gabby asked curiously, she didn't think Lucretia had told her mum, but she needed to know at some point.

She nodded her head, she remembered receiving the letter, the date seemed to be before she had found out her daughter was wounded in the hospital wing.
"Yes I believe I received the letter last week." it amused her that the girl wasn't complaining to her about it, she was upset her daughter did it for she could get herself expelled, but the fact that she hurt this girl didn't bother her much, the fact that the girl was alive was enough for her.
