"Do you really think he'll go to you if you get me out of the way by attacking?" Dru asked, refusing to answer Storm's question. She wasn't stupid, or naive, she knew everything that Storm was saying, it wasn't like she hadn't thought about it before. Dru's wand was out, even if she didn't exactly remember the moment it left her pocket, but if she attacked she'd be a hypocrite. All that time she had spent telling Chase that it wouldn't be worth it to fight Emilian, and there she was, nearly in a fight with Storm.
"Come on, attack me, go ahead," Dru said, her voice soft and harsh at the same time. Although, if Storm attacked first, it would technically be self defense if Dru reacted, right? That was the loophole she needed.

Her wand slipped from her sleeve, but Dru's words had awoken another side of her. Storm staggered back, one hand to her head, a voice inside her telling her to stop, telling her this was wrong, that she didn't want this. That part knew Dru was right, knew that Chase wouldn't like her anymore.
"Shut up!" she told the voice in her head, her finger clenching around her wand, why couldn't she just attack, get it over with, her fingers were relaxing against her wand, she looked up at Dru, hate and confusion reflecting off her eyes.

"Come on, you know you want to," Dru goaded. "You can't screw up my life any worse." She caught a glimpse of Storm's wand and raised hers, just in case. A potential trip to the hospital wing would be so worth relieving some of the tension of the last few weeks. Even if it did make her a hypocrite.

She couldn't listen, didn't want to, she tightened her grasp on her wand, it looked so innocent, but it wasn't all the pain it cause, would it be worth it again, to hurt someone. Attacking Dru was not the problem, she could careless, but wouldn't it hurt Chase?
"You don't know what you talking about." she hissed, shutting her eyes against the stir of voices in her head. She knew what she could do, could feel the spell that bubbled up in her lips, she couldn't, why couldn't she. It would be pleasurable for now, but the pain after would it be worth it.
"Your precious to him, I can't." she mumbled taking another step back, cursing her own weakness.

Dru barked out a laugh, "Precious," she scoffed. "Bull. If I'm precious to him, I'd hate to see what happens to someone he hates, oh wait. I've seen that already, he nearly killed Emilian." At some point she may have thought she was precious, but at the moment it seemed the least likely thing in the world. If she were precious to him, wouldn't he care more about what she asked him? Wouldn't he have tried to stop her when she left the Hospital wing?

Storm looked up, obviously worn from the power struggle in her mind. Twice she corrected in her mind, the second time, something stopped him, she wasn't sure what it was, she couldn't ask, for fear she would trigger him to attack Emilian again, but she had to find out what it was.
"Remember what I said, one falter in your relationship, and I will use that." she said straightening her back the crazier side taking over, then she felt something odd, her brows furrowed for a moment.
"Than is it worth it?" she asked, curiously, not sure where the question came from, she didn't care for the answer, but the other side of her wanted to stall. For what? The hand on her head came down, her hand disappearing in her robes, coming out with a small dagger, she looked at it, then quickly unsheathed it, looking up at Dru.
"Come on attack!" she said roughly.

Dru stared at her, chewing angrily on her lip. Yes, she remembered very well, and she knew that Storm would go after Chase because of a falter in the relationship. She had been given the perfect reason to go after him, too, she knew that everything wasn't right, and Dru had confirmed it. Dru shot the Conjunctivis at her, not wanting to be as bloody as Chase and Emilian had been, but needing to do something.

Storm knew it was coming, her face broke into a wide smile, she jumped to the side, the curse barely missing her as she shook her head mockingly.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk can't you do any better." she raised her wand, a dangerous curse coming to mind, but something stopped her. The saner side of her was dominating now, the other side leaving. She raised her wand. 'Confringo' she thought, at least she wasn't the first on to aim a spell. She took a few steps forward after sending the curse, she was getting closer, as her hand tightened on both the dagger and her wand, she would spill blood today, she was sure of it.

Dru brought up a shield, blocking the curse, though the force broke it down the moment it hit. Her eyes caught a glimpse of the dagger and it sent a chill racing up and down her spine. Furnunculus. She took a step backwards, she didn't like the idea of the dagger, it scared her worse than Storm's wand. She knew what to do with a wand, but if a dagger came at her, there wasn't much she could do. If she grabbed it, it would cut her.

Storm tried to dodge it again, but a wavering in her mind, made the spell hit her hand. She felt the burning boils, but it didn't slow her down, pain was something to welcome, pain was just a minor set back, she had no time, she shoudl end this right now. She came at a dash, sending random curses some gruesome others minor, but they were just distractions, because she wasn't aiming at Dru, she was just confusing her.
"Crucio." she hissed, this time aiming it at Dru, still dashing dagger raised.

The second she heard the spell, memories flashed through Dru's mind, stopping her from being able to try and get away. Michael's angry face hovered in her vision as she collapsed on the ground, doubled over in pain. All of the other spells had been blocked or dodged, and the worst had hit her. If she had been thinking, she would have realized how stupid the whole thing was. She gripped her wand tightly, concentrating on not losing it, eventually Storm would have to drop the spell, Dru just had to hold on until that happened.

She watched Dru twitch in pain, a smirk on her lips, she came forward, kneeling beside the twitching body, bringing the dagger up.
“Tonight, I will spill blood.” She repeated in a whisper, she brought it down, determined to kill, but a voice stopped her, she couldn’t do this, her sane part taking over. She could feel the hot blood against her stomach, her eyes wide, she had stabbed herself. She was going to try and kill the insane part of her. She could feel the blood bubbling up in her lips.

Dru watched the blade and then pulled away, shaking, her eyes wide as she watched Storm. Her mind was blank, filled with a fog. A small voice told her to leave, to let whatever happened happen. And then the logical part of her mind came to the front, telling her that Storm needed to be in the hospital wing. Where she would be with Chase. She leaned against a tree, her eyes still wide, clutching her wand, speechless.

Storm didn’t look at Dru, she twisted the Dagger, a cry of pain escaping her lips, she dug it in a little harder, until the voices disappeared, she let out another cry of pain pulling it out. Storm fell back her head resting on the cold earth.
“Sweet silence, finally…” she muttered her eyes slowly shutting, she needed to rest, the wound wasn’t deep enough to instantly kill her, but the blood loss eventually would. She clutched the blade in her hand, the family heirloom to precious as she held it to her chest blood gushing from the open wound.

Dru gasped lightly at Storm's actions, she had never seen anything of the sort before. She stared for a moment before she gave an angry, bitter, growl-like sound and forced herself to stand up and levitate Storm. If the roles had been reversed, she had no doubt that Storm would have just let her die, but Dru couldn't stand to let it happen when she had the power to stop it. She pocketed Storm's wand so that it didn't get lost and started the long walk made longer by her recent brush with Cruciatus and the knowledge that she didn't have much time.
