It was her first day in a new place and Daj could not believe she had finally let her mom talk her into going here, especially starting part way through the year. She walked down the halls her hands in the pockets of her favorite torn up jeans, a black leather jacket almost totally covering up the form fitting blue tank. Her boots hit the stones of the walkway with each step as she explored the place that would be her home for the time. Well there had to be worse places at least she thought to herself, after all it could have been pink.

Ryan was walking into the castle from the grounds and saw another person that he didnt know... That had been happening alot lately. He decided to go introduce himself to the girl. Ryan walked up to her "Hey, are you new here?"

Daj looked at the boy "No I've been going here since the beginning of time, whatever gave you that idea genius." she knew that she probably shouldn't be snapping at people but she really didn't even want to be there at the moment and people asking idiotic questions wasn't going to help it at all. Of course she was new.

Ryan shook his head "Well the last few people that i didnt know were not new so i thought id ask just in case, and dont give me that snappy attitude, I was just trying to be nice for a change, but i can see you dont want that."

"Oh boohoo get over it." Daj said calming down slightly before continuing "so maybe I might have been a bit harsh." She wasn't unapologizing but she did realize that it wasn't his fault that she had gotten shipped off here and she couldn't be scaring off everyone that she met.

"Japan and the US mostly. I went to muggle school before this, I just got tutoring for this kind of stuff." It was a simple answer and didn't go into too much into Daj's life.

Daj nodded "Mom's a witch I hang with her when courger...I mean when my dad's gone." She hadn't referred to her father as anything other then his handle for so long that it seemed odd to her.

Daj smiled her mom wasn't that bad she was just a bit annoying sometimes especially when she tried to make Daj act like a real girl "Yeah my mother's not too bad, dad's awesome though." Daj adored her father, which is why she didn't exactly appreciated all the time when she was with her mom.

Daj shrugged and thought about it for a moment "I suppose its probably because I don't have anything to do. I kind of just got here and that sort of impairs my ability to be doing much at the moment." which basically meant is there anything here to do because so far I'm stuck someplace that is totally dead.
