Gabby cleared her throat, she felt awkward about the way things had been left between her and Vannah. "Um, I'm really sorry, but I don't think I've really introduced myself properly, I'm Gabrielle. I'm really sorry abot what I said before, I was incredibly rude and I can't apologise enough. I've been very stressed recently which is no excuse but it is the problem." Gabby finished, she hoped that Vannah wouldn't be too mad at her, she also made a mental note to stop calling her Vannah, it seemed to personal and she hadn't introduced herself as Gabby like she normally did.

"Pleasure, I'm sure." Vannah said sarcastically. The fact that this girl's only problem was stress almost made Vannah jealous. Almost. She sighed, exasperatedly. Vannah corssed her arms over her chest. "Vannah Brooks." She mumbled. Her words were almost slurred. She had not planned on offering Gabrielle any sign of kindness or any act that may show her that Vannah wanted to get to kow her.

Gabby was still a little on her guard from the sarcastic tone of Vannah's voice. Then she made another mental note. Savannah had introduced herself as Vannah, this meant that Gabby could now use it.
"I'm pleased to meet you Vannah," she said formally, then continued in a more casual tone. "I haven't been back for long and so I'm not sure I know everybody, it is rather unsettling, plus I've been having awful nightmares and I'm writing for the daily prophet." Gabby stopped abruptly. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bore you with the details."

Vannah rolled her eyes even though she knew no one saw it. "How cute." She said as if she were complimenting on a toddler's finger-painting. She was starting to become really annoyed with the girl's efforts. She had no use for a perky little....it occurred to Vannah that she had no idea what house or year the girl was.

Gabby realised her efforts were in vain. "Fine, you know what, I don't need you. But there might have been benefits for you." Gabby shrugged and said, "Have it your way" over her shoulder as she moved away from the two girls.
But as she was about to disappear, she twisted round and aimed her wand at Vannah. muttering under her breath one of those dead handy jinxes she had learnt at an early age courtesy of her grandmother, Gabby sent a bucket of water from the lake to pour out on Vannah. She then hurried away into the darkness, casting her grandmothers shield spell around herself as protection, laughing as she faded into the darkness, so it was imposible to see her.

Vannah flicked her wand and the bucket dropped to the ground and spilled out before hitting her. "Pathetic." She spat in Gabrielle's direction. "The poor thing has no idea what she's saying. Or casting." She turned back around and looked at Storm's shadow. "Hello? Are you still there? Still plotting ways for Dru's 'accidental' death?" She asked hoping to lighten the mood.

Gabby climbed the nearest tree with ease, and without making noise so her location could not be found out. This time, she muttered the spell that made thread disintergrate. It took immediate effect and there was no way to stop it that she knew of, her grandmother had amused her many times by sitting in the park and whispering it at people who ended up standing there with nothing on. Gabby smiled, ~this will prove I'm not just a silly little girl~ she thought. Gabby watched as Vannah's what used to be robes landed in a heap around her as all the seams came apart and the cloth fell to the ground.
Then, just as easily as she had climbed the tree, she descended and stalked back up to the Castle, out of reach of any spell cast by Vannah. Gabby thought that tonight she might not get the nightmare.

Vannah counter-acted the spell with a general counter-action spell she had taught herself. She was fully dressed and questioning what possessed her to use that spell. Vannah sighed. "This is absurd." She muttered mostly to herself.

Jess had been leaning on a tree somewhat nearby, but far away enough to go unnoticed. He grinned in the darkness at the girls' behavior. Two of them sounded familiar, though he probably didn't know them. They sounded cold and sharp. Most likely Slytherins. His sister would know better. She was good at that kind of stuff. Knowing who was who and where they belonged or how old they were. He mostly just stood in the shadows unnoticed and silent.

She couldn't take the darkness with a flick of her wand she made little lanterns winding there way around trees appear. It was still dark however you could see a lot. Her eyes scanned the darkness a smirk appeared on her features.
"Little girl hasn't mommy taught you to never play with a wand." if the girl were to attack her Storm knew enough dark magic to use against her. She looked at Vannah with a smirk.
"I wouldn't say accidental death, I would prefer it if she just disappeared, but I suppose that would make things worse for me." Storm felt something had changed, as if something was different. She shrugged and returned to vannah however her eyes scanning the place every once in a while.

"Ah, yes. I suppose that would be nice if she just disappeared. But no doubt she'd show up after a few years. It always happens in the movies." Vannah said as if that's how it were to be in real life, too. She continued to scan the area now that it was lighter. "Is that girl back?" Vannah asked incredulously spotting a shadow by a tree. "She's got to give up sooner or later." Vannah asked pulling out her wand from under her cloak where she had hidden it during her encouter in the Forest.

Storm shook her head and put her hand over the wand.
"No the shadow isn't small and childish, it looks masculine." she said removing her hand from the wand looking up into the tree.
"It's not nice to just watch without introducing yourself." she called up to the figure.

Jess debated whether to run or not. "It's not nice to torment little girls." He said deeply back to them. Whoever they were didn't matter to him, though they looked like Slytherins, he decided. Jess pushed off the tree with his foot and took a few steps closer. "It's not polite to stare." He said, matching their glare.

She rolled her eyes, he was obvious not the type of guy she got along with.
"You were the one watching us." she said venomously to him.
"I don't think we have to explain our action to someone like you, so go on you can leave now." she sneered she was in no mood to talk to him.

"Someone like me, eh?" Jess repeated under his breath. "I only came down here to find my peace, but I can see I'm not welcome here. Pity, who wouldn't want to be around such...charming people." He said sarcastically. Jess began walking. He walked passed them and began up the hill.
