Gabby was content to just see what happened, whether he would go or stay, she wasn't fussed. Gabby smiled to herself, her sense of lonliness had started to fade and she felt that she made a friend who she could rely on.

Gabby opened an eye and looked up at Ryan. "Half-blood, my mum's a witch but my dad isn't. He's ok with it though. He's even tried to learn a couple of easy spells, it's funny watching him. He's where I got my love of horses, he trains them. I was riding before I could walk. How about you?"

Ryan somewhat smiled "Same as you, although my dad wasnt as happy about it as yours, he almost left, but he stayed and now he is fine with it. I got my love for the muggle sport baseball from him. I was a baseball fan before i could walk" he said with a laugh.

"I was on a broom before I could run, there was no problem, we lived out on a huge farm where my dad trained the horses. I ahve my own you know, a mare, called Rain, an odd name i know." Gabby laughed a little but felt a pang of homesickness, she wouldnt be able to see the farm or Rain for weeks.

Ryan nodded "Yea I do, especially at this time of the year because baseball is just about to start up, even though I am a fan of one of the worst teams of all time" he said with a laugh.

"Well that makes sense" Gabby said laughing, "although I do get what you mean. One of my favourite horses at the stables is terrible but i love them for some reason that I've never quite known."

Ryan laughed "Well im a hometown person and my favorite team is in the city that I have lived in all my life, and my dad is a huge fan so I grew up into one.... I was yelling at the tv durring the season by the time i was 5."
